The Jatav (also spelled Jatava or Jaatav) is a Scheduled Caste community found predominantly in North India. This is a list of notable people from the Jatav community.
Babu Jagjivan Ram – Veteran Indian freedom fighter, social reformer, and one of the longest-serving cabinet ministers in India. He held portfolios such as Defence, Agriculture, and Labour etc.
Mayawati – Four-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a prominent Dalit political leader.[1]
Ram Sundar Das – Former Chief Minister of Bihar (1979–1980), senior Jatav leader and Member of Parliament from Hajipur; known for his simple lifestyle and social justice work.[2]

Khemchand Bohare – Ex. President of the Akhil Bharatiya Jatav Mahasabha; pioneering Dalit activist and social reformer who helped found the Jatav Mahasabha in 1917 for community upliftment.
Manik Chand Jatav‑vir – Elected to the 1st Lok Sabha (1952–57) from Bharatpur–Sawai Madhopur (SC), Rajasthan as a member of the Krishikar Lok Party; founder of Jatav Mahasabha.[18]
