The Kazakhstan national football team represents Kazakhstan in men's international football and it is governed by the Kazakhstan Football Federation. They split from the Soviet Union national football team after independence in 1991 and joined the Asian Football Confederation's Central Asian Football Federation. The Kazakhstan women's national rugby union team, nicknamed the Nomads, represents Kazakhstan in women's rugby union and is governed by the Kazakhstan Rugby Union. They have competed in six Rugby World Cup's, having made their first appearance in 1994 in Scotland. They compete annually in the Asia Rugby Women's Championship and have won five tournaments.

The Hong Kong women's national rugby union team represents Hong Kong in women's rugby union. They played their first international match in 1998 against Japan. They made their Rugby World Cup debut in 2017 in Ireland.

The Thailand women's national rugby union team played their first test match against Kazakhstan in 2005.

The Brazil women's national rugby union team are the national side of Brazil, representing them at rugby union. After several successful performances at Sevens rugby, they played their first 15-a-side fixture in May 2008 against Netherlands and lost 10–0.

The Brazil women's national rugby sevens team has appeared in the Olympics, the Rugby World Cup, the Women's Sevens Series, and other competitions. Brazil has won every regional championship in South America. Their team nickname "Yaras" was coined in 2013, and comes from the local Tupí-Guaraní myth of the Iara. It was meant to signify the courage and collective strength of women’s rugby in Brazil and also to connect them with their country’s roots.

The 2022 Asia Rugby Championship was the sixth tri-nations series of rugby union matches for the top-level Asia Rugby nations. Due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the series was cancelled in both 2020  and 2021.

The Finals, formerly known as World Group, was the highest level of Davis Cup competition in 2021. It was held on indoor hard courts at three venues in Innsbruck, Austria, Madrid, Spain and Turin, Italy. The 2020 edition was originally scheduled to take place from 23 until 29 November 2020. However, on 26 June 2020, ITF announced that 2020 Finals would take place from 22 until 28 November 2021 due to coronavirus pandemic and be named 2021 Davis Cup Finals. On 18 January 2021, ITF announced that the Finals would be expanded over 11 days, from 25 November to 5 December 2021. The ties were contested in a best-of-three rubbers format and played on one day. There were two singles followed by a doubles. Spain were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the round-robin stage. The Russian Tennis Federation won the title, defeating Croatia in the final. Andrey Rublev was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after going 6–1 in both singles and doubles.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Rugby World Cup qualifying</span>

The qualification process for the 2021 Rugby World Cup began on 9 August 2019 with 12 teams qualifying to the tournament which was to be held in New Zealand. The 2021 Rugby World Cup was postponed by one year in March 2021 to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Natasha Shangwe Olson-Thorne is a Hong Kong rugby union player. She represented Hong Kong at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland, it was their first World Cup appearance. She scored Hong Kong's first World Cup try in their match against Wales.

Chong Ka-yan is a Hong Kong rugby union and sevens player. She competed for Hong Kong at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland.

Chow Mei-nam is a Hong Kong rugby union player. She captained Hong Kong in their 2017 Rugby World Cup debut in Ireland.
