It was released in Japan on July 13, 1985 alongside Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! Dream Capital Mecha Police, Captain Tsubasa: Great Europe Play-Off, and Dengeki Sentai Changeman: Shuttle Base Showdown. It is set after the Dream Choujin Tag Arc. It is the first film to feature the character Geronimo and the last film where Eiji Kanie supplies the voice of Ramenman. It is also the shortest film of the series. It is based on the Kinnikuman special chapter Robin Memo (ロビン・メモ).

Hour of Triumph! Seigi Choujin (晴れ姿!正義超人,, Haresugata! Seigi Choujin) is the fifth theatrical film based on the anime series Kinnikuman. It was released in Japan on December 21, 1985 alongside Captain Tsubasa: Watch Out, All Japan Jr.! and GeGeGe no Kitaro. It is set during the Dream Choujin Tag Arc.
It is the first film to feature Banjō Ginga as the voice of Ramenman (due to Eiji Kanie's death in October 1985) and the last to feature Kōji Yada. It is also the second film to feature the character Kinkotsu-Obaba, who had been omitted from the previous film.

Crisis in New York! (ニューヨーク危機一髪!, Nyū Yōku Kiki Ippatsu) is the sixth theatrical film based on the anime series Kinnikuman. It was released in Japan on March 15, 1986 alongside Captain Tsubasa: Race Towards Tomorrow, GeGeGe no Kitarō: The Great Yōkai War, and Choushinsei Flashman. It is set after the Dream Choujin Tag Arc.
This was the last film to feature a cameo from series creators Yudetamago. It was also the second and last film to feature the Announcer. The villain in the film is Akuma Shogun, who appeared in the original manga and anime series as the leader of the Devil Knights during the Golden Mask Arc. Hidekatsu Shibata returns as the main antagonist of this film, having previously played that role in Great Riot! Seigi Choujin .

Seigi Choujin vs. Senshi Choujin (正義超人vs戦士超人) is the seventh and final theatrical film based on the anime series Kinnikuman. It was released in Japan on December 20, 1986 alongside GeGeGe no Kitarō: Crash!! The Great Rebellion of the Multi-Dimensional Yōkai and Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shen Long.
The character Neptuneman appeared in the original manga and anime as the main antagonist of the Dream Choujin Tag Arc. Chikao Ōtsuka returns as one of the main antagonists of this film, having previously played that role in Stolen Championship Belt.

Two theatrically released movies were made for the sequel series Kinnikuman II Sei. The first was made before the anime television series began. The villains from both films return during the Choujin Olympics in the anime television series as the second movie is non-canon because Cyborg gang does not remember him.

Released in 2001 alongside Motto! Ojamajo Doremi ~Secret of the Frog Stone~ and Digimon Tamers. The fans Shimada-san and Nakai-san are based on Kinnikuman creators Takashi Shimada and Yoshinori Nakai (Yudetamago). The ending theme, "Muscle Beat", was performed by famous martial artist Nobuaki Kakuda, who also provided the opening narration.

Akira Kamiya is a Japanese voice actor. He played several notable roles in Japanese manga and anime television series, including Kenshiro in Fist of the North Star, Ryo Saeba in City Hunter, Shutaro Mendo in Urusei Yatsura and Kogoro Mori in Detective Conan. In mecha anime, he voiced Ryoma Nagare in Getter Robo, Akira Hibiki in Brave Raideen, Sanshirō Tsuwabuki in Gaiking, Roy Focker in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, and Sincline in Beast King GoLion.
Kinnikuman is a Japanese manga series created by the duo Yoshinori Nakai and Takashi Shimada, known as Yudetamago. It follows Suguru Kinniku, a superhero who must win a wrestling tournament to retain the title of prince of Planet Kinniku. Nakai and Takashi planned the series when they were attending high school originally as a parody to Ultraman.
Hidemitsu Hori, better known by his stage name Hideyuki Hori, is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator and younger brother of fellow voice actor Yukitoshi Hori and works at Aoni Production. He is most known for his roles in Saint Seiya, Sakigake!! Otokojuku, Kinnikuman, Dragon Ball Z, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, the Dead or Alive series and Ninja Gaiden, and One Piece.
Daisuke Gōri was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Kōtō, Tokyo. Throughout his life, he was attached to TV Talent Center Tokyo, Yoshizawa Theatre School and then Mausu Promotion; he was attached to Aoni Production at the time of his death. His real name, as well as his former stage name, was Yoshio Nagahori. He was best known for his roles in the Dragon Ball series, the Gundam series, Ninja Scroll, Kinnikuman, Patlabor, Star Fox, Dead or Alive, Tekken, and Soulcalibur – as well as his distinctive deep, booming voice.
Masaya Onosaka is a Japanese voice actor who works for Aoni Production. In 2010 he won the "Best Personality" Seiyu Award.
Masaharu Satō is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator currently working for Aoni Production. He was born in Ōta, Tokyo. Satō is best known for the roles of Buffaloman, Sunshine (Kinnikuman), Miyamoto Musashi (Yaiba), Adah, and Dora-med III. He is also known for playing numerous roles in the Kinnikuman, Dr. Slump and Arale-chan, Fist of the North Star, and Dragon Ball series.
Minori Matsushima was a Japanese actress, voice actress and narrator that worked for Aoni Production. She was most known for the roles of Candice White Adley, Hiyoko Isu, Alexandria Meat (Kinnikuman), Sayaka Yumi, Hiroshi Ichikawa (Kaibutsu-kun), Dororo (Dororo), and Gyopi. Matsushima was born in Chiba Prefecture on December 1, 1940. She died from pancreatic cancer on April 8, 2022, at age 81.
Yudetamago is the pen name of the Japanese manga artists duo consisting of story writer Takashi Shimada and artist Yoshinori Nakai. They are best known for the popular manga Kinnikuman, Ultimate Muscle, and Tatakae!! Ramenman. Many English speaking fans abbreviate Yudetamago as "Yude" while discussing the different peculiarities of the duo.

Kinkeshi is an extensive and popular line of collectible erasers, an instance of the modern Japanese popular culture institution of keshi. The keshi it includes are monochromatic and derived from the Kinnikuman (キン肉マン) anime and manga franchise, whose primary motif is professional wrestling.
Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation, known in Japan as Kinnikuman Nisei New Generation vs. Legends, is a wrestling video game based on the anime and manga, Ultimate Muscle. It was developed in Japan by AKI Corporation and released in Japan and North America only on the GameCube. It spawned two new expansions: Galactic Wrestling: Featuring Ultimate Muscle, released only on PlayStation 2 in 2004, and Kinnikuman Muscle Generations, released in Japan on February 2, 2006 for the PlayStation Portable. Kōji Yada was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator who was represented by Aoni Production. Kōji Yada was also his birth name, but was written with different kanji Yada Kōji. He died in Tokyo due to chronic kidney disease on May 1, 2014.
