The 1936 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XI Olympiad and commonly known as Berlin 1936, was an international multi-sport event held from 1 to 16 August 1936 in Berlin, Germany. Berlin won the bid to host the Games over Barcelona at the 29th IOC Session on 26 April 1931. The 1936 Games marked the second and most recent time the International Olympic Committee gathered to vote in a city that was bidding to host those Games. Later rule modifications forbade cities hosting the bid vote from being awarded the games.

Nexhmije Pagarusha was a Kosovo-Albanian singer and actress, often referred to as the Queen of Albanian music. Pagarusha gained acclaim as a recording artist in Kosova and neighbouring countries for her distinct soprano vocal range, which she displayed performing various Kosovan folk songs during her career, which spanned 36 years, from 1948, in her debut in Radio Prishtina, to 1984, in her final concert in Sarajevo. Her music style was not limited just to Albanian music, as she performed rock, pop, funk, opera/classical, and many more.

The Democratic League of Dardania was a political party in Kosovo. The Democratic League of Dardania was established in January 2007 by the former Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo Nexhat Daci following his unsuccessful bid to become leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo. It was a conservative party and the second largest right-wing party in Kosovo in its time.

Genc Mulliqi is an Albanian artist, specialising in sculptures and abstract paintings. He has studied in England and Tirana. Mulliqi lives in Tirana and works as a director at the National Art Gallery of Albania there.

Rexho Mulliqi was a Yugoslavian composer from Montenegro and husband of singer Nexhmije Pagarusha.

This is a list of some of the major festivals and events held in Kosovo's capital city Pristina, which are common occurrences throughout the year in the city.

Muslim Mulliqi was an impressionist and expressionist painter of Kosovo. Born into a family of artists in town, Mulliqi attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade under Zoran Petrović, where he also continued with the postgraduate studies. Mulliqi exposed in galleries of Kosovo, ex-Yugoslavia, Italy and Albania. Mulliqi was the initiator of the foundation and vice-president of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo. He taught painting in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Prishtina. Kosovo Art Gallery exhibition holds his name. While his creations are everlasting, academic Mulliqi was and will remain one of the most prominent figures of the Albanian art. He died in 1998 in Prishtina.

The importance of Kosovan Folklore on the different genres, their development and their popularity. As referring to genres as a categorization would not cover all compositions and composers in a fair way, a highlight of every composers work and different genres is provided because of the different genres a composers work has included throughout the years.

The National Gallery of Kosovo, formerly known as the Kosova National Art Gallery, is an art gallery situated at The University of Pristina Campus that focuses on 20th-century art.

Bahri Mulliqi is a Kosovan composer who studied composition in the Music Faculty of Prishtina in 1989. He was born in Prishtina where he also finished music high school. From 1994–1996, he was Assistant dean at the same faculty and a member of the Faculty in stranded regulatory organ. Mulliqi's creative works are rather characterized by differences and have been presented in most capitals in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Albania. He now lives and works in America. His artistic activities include choir songs, piano songs, chamber music and other instrumental and vocal works for orchestra, soloists and choruses.
