The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is a public medical school in Charleston, South Carolina. It opened in 1824 as a small private college aimed at training physicians and has since established hospitals and medical facilities across the state. It is one of the oldest continually operating schools of medicine in the United States and the oldest in the Deep South.

Loyola Medicine, also known as Loyola University Health System, is a quaternary-care system with a 61-acre (25 ha) main medical center campus in the western suburbs of Chicago, in the U.S. state of Illinois. The medical center campus is located in Maywood, 13 miles (21 km) west of the Chicago Loop and 8 miles (13 km) east of Oak Brook. The heart of the medical center campus is the Loyola University Medical Center. Also on campus are the Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center Loyola Outpatient Center, Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine and Loyola Oral Health Center as well as the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, Center for Translational Research and Education, and the Loyola Center for Fitness.

Volgograd State Medical University is located in Volgograd which is situated in the southern part of Russia on the west bank of the Volga River. It started as Stalingrad Medical Institute founded in 1935. In 1993 it received the status of the Academy, and in 2003 it was granted the status of the University. It is headed by Vladimir I. Petrov.

Allied Academies is a reportedly fraudulent corporation chartered under the laws of North Carolina. Its postal address is in London, United Kingdom. It presents itself as an association of scholars, with supporting and encouraging research and the sharing and exchange of knowledge as its stated aims. The organization consists of 30 affiliate academies, which provide awards to academics and publish academic journals both online and in hard copy for members. Since 2015 the organization has been listed on Jeffrey Beall's list of "potential, possible, or probable predatory scholarly open-access publishers". It is in a partnership with OMICS Publishing Group which uses its website and logo. In 2018, OMICS owner Srinubabu Gedela declared that he had informed the Nevada court that Allied Academies was a subsidiary of OMICS International. During a conference in 2018, they falsely listed a prominent chemist among its organizing committee who had not agreed to this and was not affiliated with Allied Academies.

ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, or in its full name Employees' State Insurance Corporation Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad, is a Government co-educational Medical College located at New Industrial Township-3, Faridabad, the industrial capital of India in Haryana, India. It was established in 2015 under the aegis of the ESI Corporation, a central autonomous body under Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Faridabad is a part of the National Capital Region, India (NCR) adjoining Delhi, the Capital City of India. It is affiliated to Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The college is attached to a 1150-bedded multi-speciality hospital which was built in 2013 but became operational in 2014. The campus is spread in over 30 acres and provide primary and tertiary healthcare facilities to the workers insured under the ESI corporation and is one of the tertiary care referral center for smaller ESI clinic and dispensaries.

JSci Med Central is a publisher of various academic journals from Hyderabad, India. JSciMed Central has been included on Beall's List of potential predatory open-access publishers, and has faced other criticisms of its publishing practices.
