This is a list of Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark since the establishment of the Minister for Agriculture in 1896.
Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark is the politically appointed head of the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and a member of the Cabinet. Since 2 May 2018, Jakob Ellemann-Jensen from the Venstre party has served as Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries in the Lars Løkke Rasmussen III Cabinet.
Denmark, officially the Kingdom of Denmark, is a sovereign state in Northern Europe. Denmark proper consists of a peninsula, Jutland, and an archipelago of 443 named islands, with the largest being Zealand, Funen and the North Jutlandic Island. The islands are characterised by flat, arable land and sandy coasts, low elevation and a temperate climate. The southernmost of the Scandinavian nations, Denmark lies southwest of Sweden and south of Norway, and is bordered to the south by Germany. The Kingdom of Denmark also comprises two autonomous constituent countries in the North Atlantic Ocean: the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Denmark has a total area of 42,924 km2 (16,573 sq mi), land area of 42,394 km2 (16,368 sq mi), and the total area including Greenland and the Faroe Islands is 2,210,579 km2 (853,509 sq mi), and a population of 5.8 million.

Denmark is a Nordic country located in Northern Europe. It consists of the Jutland peninsula and several islands in the Baltic sea, referred to as the Danish Archipelago. Denmark is located southwest of Sweden and due south of Norway and is bordered by the German state Schleswig-Holstein to the south, on Denmark's only land border, 68 kilometers long.
The economy of Denmark is a modern market economy with comfortable living standards, a high level of government services and transfers, and a high dependence on foreign trade. The economy is dominated by the service sector with 80% of all jobs, whereas about 11% of all employees work in manufacturing and 2% in agriculture. Nominal gross national income per capita was the tenth-highest in the world at $55,220 in 2017. Correcting for purchasing power, per capita income was Int$52,390 or 16th-highest globally. Income distribution is relatively equal, but inequality has increased somewhat during the last decades, however, due to both a larger spread in gross incomes and various economic policy measures. In 2017, Denmark had the seventh-lowest Gini coefficient of the 28 European Union countries. With 5,789,957 inhabitants, Denmark has the 39th largest national economy in the world measured by nominal gross domestic product (GDP) and 60th largest in the world measured by purchasing power parity (PPP).
The Social Democrats, officially the Social Democratic Party or simply Social Democracy, is a social-democratic political party in Denmark.
The Inatsisartut, also known as the Parliament of Greenland in English, is the unicameral parliament of Greenland, a autonomous country in the Danish realm. Established in 1979, it meets in Inatsisartut, on the islet of Nuuk Center in central Nuuk.
The Danish Social Liberal Party is a social-liberal political party in Denmark.
Wollert Konow was Prime Minister of Norway from 1910 to 1912. He was the leader of a coalition cabinet. Konow's time as Prime Minister saw the extension of accident insurance to seamen in 1911.
The Cabinet of Denmark has been the chief executive body and the government of the Kingdom of Denmark since 1848. The Cabinet is led by the Prime Minister. There are around 25 members of the Cabinet, known as "ministers", all of whom are also heads of specific government ministries. The Cabinet has usually been composed of Ministers from two or more parties forming a coalition government. Still, most of these governments have been minority governments, relying on the support of still other parties.
Eva Kjer Hansen is a Danish politician. She was the Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries as member of the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen II, III and the Lars Løkke Rasmussen I Cabinet from 12 September 2007 until 23 February 2010, and she was Social Minister and Minister for Women's Rights from 2 August 2004 to 12 September 2007, as member of the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen I and II. As part of the Lars Løkke Rasmussen II Cabinet she was Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries from 28 June 2015 until 29 February 2016. She has been Minister for Gender Equality and Nordic Cooperation since 2 May 2018.
The Constitutional Act of the Kingdom of Denmark, or simply the Constitution, is the constitution of the Kingdom of Denmark, applying equally in Denmark proper, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. In its present form, the Constitutional Act is from 1953, but the principal features of the Act go back to 1849, making it one of the oldest constitutions.
A Commerce minister is a position in many governments that is responsible for regulating external trade and promoting economic growth. In many countries, this role is separate from a finance minister, who has more budgetary responsibilities.
A referendum on land laws was held in Denmark on 25 June 1963. The four land laws, which had already been passed by the Danish parliament, were rejected by voters. It was the first, and so far only, time in Danish history that a law passed by parliament had been sent to a public referendum by a minority in parliament.
Lars Løkke Rasmussen is a Danish politician who served as the 25th Prime Minister of Denmark from 2015 to 2019. He previously also held the office from 2009 to 2011. He has been the leader of the liberal Venstre party since 2009.
The Naalakkersuisut is the government of Greenland, a "constituent country" of the Kingdom of Denmark, takes place in a framework of a parliamentary representative democratic country, whereby the prime minister is the head of government, and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament Inatsisartut. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature. Greenland has full autonomy on most matters, except on policies and decisions affecting the region including negotiations with the devolved legislatures and the Folketing.
Mette Frederiksen is a Danish politician who has been the Prime Minister of Denmark since June 2019. First elected to the Folketing in 2001, she went on to serve under Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt as Minister of Employment from 2011 to 2014 and Minister of Justice from 2014 until she succeeded her as party leader in June 2015.
Denmark–Ukraine relations refers to the current and historical relations between Denmark and Ukraine. Denmark has an embassy in Kiev, and Ukraine has an embassy in Copenhagen. Denmark recognized Ukraine on 31 December 1991, and diplomatic relations were established on 12 February 1992. Current Ukrainian ambassador to Denmark is Mykhailo Skuratovsky.
Denmark–Mozambique relations refers to the current and historical relations between Denmark and Mozambique. Denmark has an embassy in Maputo, and Mozambique is represented in Denmark, through its embassy in Stockholm, Sweden with an honorary consulate in Copenhagen. Diplomatic relations were established on 26 June 1975, but relations date back to before Mozambique achieved independence. The Danish Institute for Human Rights has worked with Mozambique since 1997. In 2000, Denmark signed an agreement with Finance Minister Luisa Diogo about implementation of mechanisms.

General elections were held in Denmark on 5 June 2019 to elect all 179 members of the Folketing; 175 in Denmark proper, two in the Faroe Islands and two in Greenland. The elections took place ten days after the European Parliament elections.
