The NCHC Sportsmanship Award is an annual award given out at the conclusion of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference regular season to the best player best exemplifying the qualities of sportsmanship in the conference as voted by the coaches of each NCHC team. [1]

The Sportsmanship Award was first awarded in 2014 and is a successor to the Terry Flanagan Memorial Award which was discontinued after the conference dissolved due to the 2013–14 NCAA conference realignment. [2] [3] [4]

The Miami RedHawks men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. 2016–17 Denver Pioneers mens ice hockey season

The 2016–17 Minnesota–Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team represented University of Denver in intercollegiate college ice hockey during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The head coach was Jim Montgomery and the team captain was Will Butcher. The team won the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. The team's leading scorer was Troy Terry.

Scott Douglas Perunovich is an American collegiate ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the University of Minnesota–Duluth in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the second round, 45th overall, in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. While playing with the Minnesota–Duluth Bulldogs, Perunovich was named to the AHCA East First-Team All-American, the NCHC First All-Conference Team, All-Tournament Team, NCHC All-Rookie team, NCHC Offensive Defenseman of the Year, and NCHC Rookie of the Year.
