The Nagpuria people, also Nagpuri or Sadan, are an Indo-Aryan speaking ethnolinguistic group who are the native speakers of the Nagpuri language and natives of the western Chota Nagpur Plateau region of Indian states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.

Mor Gaon Mor Desh (2018) is an Indian, Nagpuri language drama romance film directed by Ashwini Kumar and produced by Alka Singh. The film features Deepak Sinha and Payel Mukherjee in prominent roles.

Khortha cinema refers to films produced in the Khortha language in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

Deepak Lohar is an actor who mostly acts in Nagpuri and Hindi films. He graduated from the National School of Drama. He is known for the films Jharkhand Kar Chhaila, Chamku, Ilaka Kishoreganj and Namaha Shivaya Shantaya.

Manoj Singh Tiger, popularly known as Manoj Tiger, is an Indian actor mainly active in Bhojpuri films. He is known for his comedic roles in films and has also worked as main villain in several Bhojpuri films. He has also appeared in the Bollywood films The Accidental Prime Minister and Batla House.

Sahani Upendra Pal Singh was an Indian writer. He was one of the prominent writers in the Nagpuri-language in the modern period. He translated "Ram Charit Manas" in Nagpuri. He wrote around 20 books in nagpuri. He was awarded "Jharkhand Ratna", "Praful Samman", "Seva Ratna" and "BCCL Koyal Bharti Rajbhasha award".

Gurmeet Singh popularly known as Bunty Singh was an actor, dancer, choreographer and cinematographer who mostly worked in Nagpuri and Khortha albums and films. He was born in Jamshedpur. He also participated in dance reality show Boogie Woogie. He had prominent role in establishing distinct identity of Nagpuri album and films.

Nagpuri culture refers to the culture of the Nagpuria people, the native speakers of the Nagpuri language, which includes literature, festivals, folk song and dance. It is also referred to as the culture related to the Nagpuri language.

Dinesh Deva is an Indian actor and dancer. He works in Nagpuri albums and Nagpuri films. He is working in the industry since 2001. He is known for the Nagpuri albums and films Nagpur Kar Bhoot, Mahuua, Hum Bhi to Ashique Hain and Gangwa.

Aashiqui is a 2022 Bhojpuri-language action romance film directed by Parag Patil and produced by Pradeep K. Sharma under "Baba Motion Pictures". Written by Khesari Lal Yadav the film talks about social topics like untouchability and inter-caste marriage. It film stars Khesari Lal Yadav, Kunal Singh, Amrapali Dubey and Shruti Rao.

Raman Gupta is an Indian actor, dancer and singer. He works in Nagpuri albums, Nagpuri films and Khortha film. He also acted in many hindi films. He is known for the Nagpuri film Sun Sajna, Deva Rikshawala and Gangwa. He was awarded best regional actor award in Jharkhand International Film Festival Awards in 2018 and Best Evergreen Actor in Jhollywood Award Show in 2022.

Welcome To Kashmir is an Indian Hindi-language thriller film directed by Tariq Bhat and produced by Filmstock Creations. It stars local actors, Mateena Rajput, Ahmad Shahab, Simran Ahuja, Niharika Tariq and Rehan Tariq. It was released on 26 May 2023. It is known to be first Bollywood film which stars actors from Kashmir.

Satish Jain is an Indian film writer and director who has worked mainly in the Chhattisgarhi, Bhojpuri and Hindi film industries. He made his debut as a director with the Chhattisgarhi movie Mor Chhainha Bhuinya in 2000. He is fondly called the Manmohan Desai of Chhollywood. He has also been honourned in 2021 for his contribution to Chhattisgarhi cinema.

Nasoor (2023) is an Indian, Nagpuri film produced and directed by Rajiv Sinha. The film features Vivek Nayak and Shivani Gupta in lead roles. The story of the film is based on the practice of witch hunting in a village of Jharkhand.
