The story of the film is based on social issue and revenge. The film is a love story of Kishan and Rajo in a village of Jharkhand. It is based on witch hunting practice in the village.^[1]^[4]

Production

The film was produced and directed by Rajiv Sinha. The shooting of the film took place in the Rukka village, Rukka Dam, nearby forest and Morabadi in the city of Ranchi. The shooting was completed in six months.^[5]

Sound Tracks

The music composers of the film are Srikant Indwar and Upendra Pathak.^[6] Vivek Nayak has given his voice in the songs.^[5]

Release

The film did not get any distributor, so producer Rajiv Sinha directly released the film in the cinema halls.^[4] Due to the dominance of Bollywood films, the film faced difficulty getting screens and got released on a single screen.^[1] The film was released on 23 June 2023 at Carnival Cinema and Jodi high steel mall in Ranchi.^[3]

Reception

The film got a positive response from audiences.^[7] The film ran for three weeks and became a hit. It was the first Nagpuri film which ran for three weeks in the cinema hall.^[1]^[2]

Sahani Upendra Pal Singh was an Indian writer. He was one of the prominent writers in the Nagpuri-language in the modern period. He translated "Ram Charit Manas" in Nagpuri. He wrote around 20 books in nagpuri. He was awarded "Jharkhand Ratna", "Praful Samman", "Seva Ratna" and "BCCL Koyal Bharti Rajbhasha award".

Sangharsh 2 is a 2023 Bhojpuri language action film produced by Ratnakar Kumar under banner of "Worldwide Records", Directed by Parag Patil and written by Veeru Thakur. A sequel to 2018 film Sangharsh, the film stars Khesari Lal Yadav, Meghashree And Sanjay Pandey.

Shravan Sagar aka Shravan Sagar Kalyan is an Indian film actor. He made his acting debut in the Rajasthani languages film Mharo Biro Hai Ghanshyam. He made his Bollywood debut with the film The Hero - Abhimanyu, in which he played the role of Inspector Abhimanyu. Mahavir Nayak, is a nagpuri singer and songwriter. He is an exponent of Theth Nagpuri music, which is a genre of typical Nagpuri music, based on traditional Nagpuri folk music. He is the recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi Amrit Award (2022), Lok Kala Ratna Award (2014) and Praful Samman (2019) for his contribution in folk music.
