Neighbours is an Australian television soap opera. It was first broadcast on 18 March 1985 and airs on streaming channel Amazon Freevee. The following is a list of characters that first appear in the show in 2025, by order of first appearance. All characters are introduced by the show's executive producer Jason Herbison.

Fallon Morell

Fallon Morell, played by Kate Connick, will make her first appearance in early 2025. [1] The character and Connick's casting details were announced on 28 October 2024. [2] She has joined the cast in a guest capacity. [2] Fallon was confirmed to be the sister of an established character. [2] The show's social media accounts teased her arrival, saying she would "wreak havoc on Erinsborough" and cause trouble for many of its residents. [2]

In October 2010, it was announced the character was to leave Neighbours and he made his final appearance on 15 March 2011.

Sophie Ramsay is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Kaiya Jones. The actress was cast in the role following a competitive audition process. Jones began filming her first scenes in February 2009. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 18 May 2009. The character was created as part of a new generation of the Ramsay family, along with her brother Harry and sister Kate. Sophie is the youngest of three siblings introduced to the show. Sophie departed on 29 March 2013, after Jones decided to leave to concentrate on her schooling. The actress briefly reprised the role for two episodes on 7 and 8 April 2014.

Ashleigh May Brewer (born 9 December 1990) is an Australian actress. She had a recurring role in The Sleepover Club, before she joined the cast of H2O: Just Add Water. Brewer played the role of Kate Ramsay in the long-running Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2009 until 2014. She portrayed Ivy Forrester on the CBS Daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2014 until 2018. She returned in a recurring capacity in 2024. She joined the cast of Home and Away as Chelsea Campbell for six months in 2018.

Gemma "Gem" Reeves is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Kathryn Beck. The actress's casting was first announced in September 2013, while a promotional trailer for the character was also released. Beck commented that she loved playing Gem because she pushed boundaries. The character made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 7 October 2013. She departed on 10 January 2014, with series producer Jason Herbison commenting that she could return in the future.

Morgana O'Reilly is a New Zealand film, television and theatre actress. She has appeared in several theatre productions and created the one-woman play The Height of the Eiffel Tower, which she performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2014. O'Reilly played Lynn Matthews in the biographical television film Billy and starred as Kylie Bucknell in the horror-comedy Housebound. She has made appearances in Nothing Trivial, Sunny Skies, This is Littleton. O'Reilly played Naomi Canning in Neighbours from 2013 until 2015. She made guest appearances in 2020 and 2022. She starred in sitcom Mean Mums and joined the cast of Wentworth as Narelle Stang in 2019. O'Reilly and her husband Peter Salmon created the comedy-thriller INSiDE, which won the International Emmy Award for Best Short-Form Series in 2021.
