The Lahore High Court is a provincial court house based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established as a high court on 21 March 1882. The Lahore High Court has jurisdiction over the province of Punjab. The High Court's principal seat is in Lahore, but there are benches in three other cities of the province: Rawalpindi, Multan and Bahawalpur.

Sohail Rana is a Pakistani music composer for films and television. He was introduced by actor Waheed Murad in Pakistan film industry and gained popularity when singer Ahmed Rushdi sang his compositions in such films as Armaan and Doraha. He is now based in Canada.

Zaib Shaikh is a Canadian actor, writer, and director. He was named Canada's Consul General in Los Angeles, California in October 2018.

Sayed Zahid Hussain is a former judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and a former chief justice of the Lahore High Court, who also held the position of being the Chairman of The Federal Service Tribunal, and until recently served as the law consultant to the President of Pakistan to hear the appeals against order of Federal Obudsman.

Pride of Performance is a civil award given by the Government of Pakistan to Pakistani citizens in recognition of distinguished merit in the fields of literature, arts, sports, medicine, or science.

Mein Hari Piya is a Pakistani Urdu language soap opera, which aired on Hum TV. It stars Soniya Hussain and Agha Ali in lead. The theme music was sung by Sara Raza Khan. It was also aired in India on Zee Zindagi.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Asim Hussain</span>

Asim Hussain, SI, NI is a Pakistani-Canadian, active in the fields of health, education, and Pakistani politics. He is chairman of Ziauddin Group of Hospitals in Karachi, and former Advisor of Prime Minister for Ministry of Oil and Natural Resources, Pakistan. He was a member of the Senate of Pakistan as part of Pakistan Peoples Party from 2009 to 2015.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Pakistan at the 2014 Asian Games</span> Sporting event delegation

Pakistan competed at the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea between 19 September and 5 October 2014. It sent 182 athletes to compete in 23 sports. It was defending its title in hockey (men's), squash and cricket (women's) but successfully managed to defend the women's cricket title only.
