Zire

The Zire series, renamed "Z" series in 2005, are the lower-end Palm models. Some have color screens (160x160 or 320x320), some are B&W (160x160).

The Tungsten series, renamed "T" series in 2005, are the high-end Palm models, with ARM/RISC processors (except the Tungsten W), high-resolution color screens, and SD memory cards.

Tapwave

A PDA designed for handheld gaming. It was held sideways (landscape), had an analog joystick and extra gaming buttons, and used Bluetooth for multiplayer gaming as well as standard PDA functions. It also introduced a dedicated video chip, and dual SD card slots.

Oswin

Two models (candybar and slider) were demonstrated at PalmSource Euro Dev Con 2005 running Palm OS Cobalt 6.1.1 [8] A few were sold onsite. Oswin never produced more. These were the only Palm OS cobalt devices to be seen in the wild. The codename for the candybar version was Zircon A108

Palm OS was a mobile operating system initially developed by Palm, Inc., for personal digital assistants (PDAs) in 1996. Palm OS was designed for ease of use with a touchscreen-based graphical user interface. It was provided with a suite of basic applications for personal information management. Later versions of the OS were extended to support smartphones. The software appeared on the company's line of Palm devices while several other licensees have manufactured devices powered by Palm OS.

Treo 600 was a smartphone developed by Handspring, and offered under the palmOne brand after the merger of the two companies. Released in November 2003, it has a number of integrated features and it is possible to check the calendar while talking on the phone, dial directly from contacts list, take pictures or send emails. It includes a five-way navigation button and favorites screen allowing quick access to the phone functions.

The Tungsten series was Palm, Inc.'s line of business-class Palm OS-based PDAs.

The O2 Xda brand was a range of Windows Mobile PDA phones, marketed by O2, developed by O2 Asia and manufactured by multiple OEMs (mainly HTC, Quanta and Arima). The first model was released in June 2002. The last models came to market in 2008. The "X" represents convergence of voice and information/data within one product; the "DA" stands for "Digital Assistant", as in PDA. The name of XDA Developers is derived from it.

Non-Volatile File System (NVFS) is a flash memory file system introduced in the release of Palm's Personal Digital Assistant handheld models Tungsten T5, Tungsten E2, Palm TX, Z22, Treo 650/700/680/755p, and Palm Centro.

The Palm Treo 700w is a Windows Mobile-powered smartphone that was officially announced on September 26, 2005. As Palm's first Windows Mobile-powered Treo, the 700w offered an alternative for users who want or need to use Microsoft software. It was offered by Verizon Wireless, and other CDMA carriers. A newer version of this phone has been released, the Treo 700wx.

The Palm m500 series of handheld personal digital assistants consisted of three devices: the Palm m500, Palm m505, and Palm m515. The series was a follow-up to the popular Palm V series with a similar, though slightly shorter, footprint and form factor.

The Palm Treo 700p is a cell phone with advanced capabilities, commonly referred to as a smartphone. Unlike the slightly earlier Treo 700w, this model is based on Palm OS. This is the first Palm OS-based Treo model to feature high-speed cellular network support, and is also the first Treo model to support Bluetooth 1.2.

The Palm Treo 700wx is a smartphone offered by Sprint, Alltel and Verizon as an update to Palm's earlier release of the Verizon-only Treo 700w. It is Palm's second Windows Mobile Treo.

The Treo 755p is a smartphone developed by Palm, Inc. It was released on May 15, 2007 as the first CDMA Treo without an aerial antenna. This Treo has a form factor similar to that of the GSM Treo 680, and is equipped with the full Palm OS. It has been described as a Treo 700p in a Treo 680's body.

Handspring, Inc., was an American electronics company founded in 1998 by the founders of Palm, Inc., after they became dissatisfied with the company's direction under the new owner 3Com. The company developed Palm OS–based Visor- and Treo-branded personal digital assistants. In 2003, the company merged with Palm, Inc.'s hardware division.

The Palm Treo 800w is a combination PDA/cell phone offered exclusively by Sprint. It is Palm's third Windows Mobile Treo. The short-lived device was replaced by the Treo Pro.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Palm Treo Pro</span> 2009 Windows Mobile smartphone by Palm

The Palm Treo Pro is a combination PDA/cell phone offered in both GSM and CDMA. It is Palm's fourth Windows Mobile Treo. It replaced the short-lived Sprint Treo 800w.

The Clie NX, were a series of handheld PDAs made by Sony, their first running the Palm OS 5.0 operating system. They had a clam-shell form factor, with a vertical rotatable screen. Most of these models also had a rotatable camera built in.

The Clie NR were a series of handheld personal digital assistants (PDAs) made by Sony, announced in March 2002. These devices were distinctive, due a folding "Flip-and-Rotate" clamshell design, with a vertical rotatable screen.

The Sony Clie UX series were premium multimedia PDAs announced by Sony in July 2003, running Palm OS. These devices were advertised as being a "personal entertainment communicator", a purpose not dissimilar to the Apple iPod Touch released in 2007. Two models were released, featuring a "palm-top" clamshell design, with a landscape tilting and swiveling LCD screen.

The Clié PEG-TG50 is a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) which was manufactured by Sony, released in March 2003. Running the Palm operating system, the TG50 was notable as it featured a built-in backlit mini qwerty keyboard, in lieu of a dedicated handwriting recognition area as was the trend on most other PDAs.
