Radiant is a 2018 Japanese anime series based on French author Tony Valente's French comic book series of the same name, which is published in Japan by Asukashinsha. [1] It follows the main protagonist, Seth, as he looks for the legendary Radiant in order to defeat creatures called Nemesis. The series is directed by Seiji Kishi and Daisei Fukuoka, and written by Makoto Uezu, with animation by studio Lerche. [1] [2] Character designs for the series are produced by Nozomi Kawano, and Masato Koda is composing the series' music. [3]

Contents

The 21-episode anime series aired on NHK Educational TV from October 6, 2018 to February 23, 2019. [3] [4] It is based on volumes 1 through 4 of the manfra. The series is simulcast by Crunchyroll, [5] with Funimation producing an English dub as it aired. [6]

In the season finale, a 21-episode second season was announced. [7] It premiered on October 2, 2019. [8]

The series received a French dub which first aired on Game One in France on September 2, 2019. [9]

Funimation's English dub of Radiant began airing on ABC Me in Australia starting on January 2, 2021. [10]

Radiant is a French comic book series written and illustrated by Tony Valente. It has been published by Ankama since 2013 and has 18 volumes released in French as of December 2023. It was later published by the Japanese publisher Euromanga and Asukashinsha in 2015, making it the first manfra to be published in Japan. The series has been licensed by Viz Media in English since 2018 and has 17 volumes released. The series received an anime television series adaptation by Lerche that aired on NHK Educational TV from October 2018 to February 2019, followed by a second season aired from October 2019 to February 2020.

Love Live! Superstar!! is an anime television series produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks as the fourth installment in the Love Live! franchise. It is directed by Takahiko Kyogoku, with the screenplay written by Jukki Hanada and Atsushi Saito designing the characters. The series follows five high school girls who overcome personal challenges as members of their school idol group Liella! on their way to gaining prominence in the school idol world. The first season aired 12 episodes on NHK Educational TV from July 11 to October 17, 2021. A second season aired from July 17 to October 9, 2022. A third season is set to premiere in October 2024. <i>Vinland Saga</i> season 1 2019 Japanese television season

The Vinland Saga anime television series is based on the manga series of the same name by Makoto Yukimura. Twin Engine announced in March 2018 that the manga would receive an anime series adaptation, with the first season being produced by Wit Studio. The series is directed by Shūhei Yabuta, with Hiroshi Seko handling series composition, Takahiko Abiru designing the characters and Yutaka Yamada composing the music. The series focuses on Thorfinn, the young Iceland villager who aims to participate in wars like his retired father, Thors.
