There are 10 stadiums in use by Triple-A West baseball teams. The oldest stadium is Cheney Stadium, home of the Tacoma Rainiers, which opened in 1959. The newest stadium is Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Las Vegas Aviators, which opened in 2019. One stadium was built in the 1950s, two in the 1990s, four in the 2000s, and three in the 2010s. The highest seating capacity of all active stadiums is 14,511, at Smith's Ballpark where the Salt Lake Bees play. The lowest capacity is Tacoma's Cheney Stadium, with 6,500 seats. All stadiums use a grass surface.

The Pacific Coast League (PCL) was a Minor League Baseball league that operated in the Western, Midwestern, and Southeastern United States. Along with the International League and the Mexican League, it was one of three leagues playing at the Triple-A level, which was one grade below Major League Baseball. It was officially named the Pacific Coast League of Professional Baseball Clubs, Inc. Its headquarters were in Round Rock, Texas. The PCL was replaced by Triple-A West.

Tacoma Rainiers Minor League Baseball team

The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Triple-A West and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Tacoma, Washington, and play their home games at Cheney Stadium, which opened in 1960. Tacoma competed in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) from 1960 to 2020 before joing the Triple-A West as a part of Major League Baseball's restructuring of Minor League Baseball in 2021. They operated under several monikers before becoming the Rainiers in 1995.

Las Vegas Aviators Minor League Baseball team

The Las Vegas Aviators, formerly known as the Las Vegas 51s and Las Vegas Stars, are a Minor League Baseball team of the Triple-A West and the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. They are located in Summerlin, Nevada, a community in Las Vegas. The Aviators play their home games at Las Vegas Ballpark, a new 10,000-seat facility. The team previously played at Cashman Field from 1983 to 2018.

Isotopes Park

Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, previously known only as Isotopes Park, is a minor league baseball stadium located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is the home field of the Albuquerque Isotopes of the Triple-A West, the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. The facility was also previously used by the baseball program of the University of New Mexico. The stadium also hosts New Mexico United, an expansion team in the United Soccer League that began play in 2019.

Oklahoma City Dodgers Minor League Baseball team

The Oklahoma City Dodgers are a Minor League Baseball team in the Triple-A West and the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and play their home games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark which opened in 1998 in the city's Bricktown district.

AutoZone Park

AutoZone Park is a Minor League Baseball stadium located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, and is home to the Memphis Redbirds of the Triple-A East and Memphis 901 FC of the USL Championship. The Redbirds are the Triple-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's (MLB) St. Louis Cardinals. In 2009, the stadium was named Minor League Ballpark of the Year by Baseball America.

Cheney Stadium

Cheney Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Tacoma, Washington, United States. Originally built for baseball, the stadium is currently home to the Tacoma Rainiers of the Triple-A West, as well as professional soccer club Tacoma Defiance of the USL Championship. The stadium opened in 1960 and has a capacity of 6,500. It is next to Henry Foss High School, and the stadium has an agreement with the school to use the school parking lot for parking.

Sutter Health Park U.S. minor league baseball park in West Sacramento, California

Sutter Health Park is the home ballpark of the Sacramento River Cats Minor League Baseball team, which is a member of the Triple-A West. Known as Raley Field from 2000 to 2019, the facility was built on the site of old warehouses and rail yards in West Sacramento, California, across the Sacramento River from the California State Capitol. It is directly adjacent to downtown Sacramento.

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark opened in 1998 in downtown Oklahoma City's Bricktown Entertainment District, replacing All Sports Stadium. It is the home of the Oklahoma City Dodgers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers Major League Baseball team. The park has seating for up to 13,066 fans and currently utilizes a seating capacity of 9,000 for Dodgers games.

Cashman Field Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada

Cashman Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It is primarily used for soccer as the home field of Las Vegas Lights FC of the USL Championship. Originally built as a baseball stadium, it was the home of the Triple-A Las Vegas Stars/51s Minor League Baseball team before being renovated for soccer. The field is adjacent to Cashman Center, an exhibit hall and theater operated by the City of Las Vegas. The complex is named for James "Big Jim" Cashman and his family, who have been Las Vegas entrepreneurs for several generations.

Triple-A (baseball) Highest level of competition in Minor League Baseball

Triple-A is the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946. Currently, two leagues operate at the Triple-A level, Triple-A East and Triple-A West, with a total of 30 teams, 20 in the East and 10 in the West. Triple-A teams can be located both in smaller cities as well as larger metropolitan areas without Major League Baseball teams, such as Austin, Jacksonville, Columbus, and Charlotte.

Triple-A National Championship Game Single contest to determine a champion for the Triple-A classification in Minor League Baseball

The Triple-A National Championship Game, previously known as the Bricktown Showdown, is a single championship game held annually from 2006 to 2019 between champions of the two Triple-A leagues of Minor League Baseball (MiLB) to determine an overall champion of the classification. When the championship game was last held in 2019, these leagues were the International League (IL) and Pacific Coast League (PCL). The game was not played in 2020, as the minor-league season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Portland Beavers Minor League Baseball team

The Portland Beavers was the name of separate minor league baseball teams, which represented Portland, Oregon, in the Pacific Coast League (PCL). The team was established in 1903, the first year of the PCL.

Southwest University Park Baseball park in El Paso, Texas, USA

Southwest University Park is a baseball stadium in El Paso, Texas. Primarily used for Minor League Baseball, it is the home of the El Paso Chihuahuas of the Triple-A West. Opened in 2014, the facility has an official capacity of 9,500, with 7,500 fixed seats with the rest being berm and party deck standing room sections.

El Paso Chihuahuas Minor League Baseball team

The El Paso Chihuahuas are a Minor League Baseball team of the Triple-A West and the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. They are located in El Paso, Texas, and play their home games at Southwest University Park, which opened in 2014. The Chihuahuas moved to El Paso from Tucson, Arizona, where they were known as the Tucson Padres. They played in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) until the 2021 restructuring of the minor leagues when they shifted to the Triple-A West. The Chihuahuas won the PCL championship in 2016.

Las Vegas Ballpark

Las Vegas Ballpark is a baseball stadium in Summerlin, Nevada in the Las Vegas Valley. It is the home field for the Las Vegas Aviators of the Triple-A West. The stadium is owned by the Howard Hughes Corporation. Las Vegas Ballpark is located in Downtown Summerlin near the intersection of South Pavilion Center Drive and Summerlin Center Drive next to City National Arena and across the street from the Downtown Summerlin shopping center. Construction of the $150 million stadium began in 2018 and was completed in time for the Aviators' 2019 season. It replaced the team's previous home at Cashman Field, where the team had resided since 1983.

Copa de la Diversión is an initiative by Minor League Baseball to promote the sport and connect its teams to their Hispanic/Latino communities. Teams adopt a culturally-relevant on-field persona for certain games each season.

The Triple-A West is a 10-team Minor League Baseball league that began operating in the United States in 2021. Along with the Triple-A East, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The league was created in 2021 in conjunction with MLB's reorganization of the minor leagues. The league is made up of nine teams formerly of the Pacific Coast League and one from the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
