The UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart is a record chart which ranks the best-selling jazz and blues albums in the United Kingdom. Compiled and published by the Official Charts Company, the data is based on each album's weekly physical sales, digital downloads and streams. [1] In 2012, 53 charts were published with 17 albums at number one. The first number-one album of the year was Caro Emerald's debut album Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor , which continued its run atop the chart from the previous year for the first five weeks of 2012. [2] The last number-one album of the year was The Golden Age of Song by Jools Holland, which spent two weeks in December in the top spot. [3]
The most successful album on the UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart in 2012 was Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor, which spent a total of 13 weeks at number one over four separate spells, the longest of which was six weeks. [2] Joe Bonamassa's tenth studio album Driving Towards the Daylight spent 12 weeks at number one, including the year's longest run of 11 weeks atop the chart. [4] Michael Bublé Sings Totally Blond by Michael Bublé spent eight weeks at number one from October onwards, [5] while At Last: The Best of Etta James was number one for four consecutive weeks. [6] Michael Bublé Sings Totally Blond finished 2012 as the 60th best-selling album of the year in the UK. [7]

"Home" is a song by Canadian singer Michael Bublé, and released on January 24, 2005, as the first single from his fourth studio album, It's Time. The song was written by Bublé, along with co-writers Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies. Bublé's version was a number-one single on the Adult Contemporary chart formats of both Canada and the United States, in addition to certifying platinum in both countries as well as finding chart success internationally. Rock Candy Funk Party is an American jazz-funk band from Los Angeles, California. It was formed in 2009 by drummer Tal Bergman and guitarist Ron DeJesus, who had previously released Grooove, Vol. 1 in 2007. After adding guitarist Joe Bonamassa, bassist Mike Merritt and keyboardist Renato Neto, the band released its debut album We Want Groove in 2013, which reached number 5 on the US Billboard Jazz Albums chart and number 6 on the UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart. Percussionist Daniel Sadownick joined after the album's release, featuring on the band's first live album Rock Candy Funk Party Takes New York: Live at The Iridium in 2014.
Live at Carnegie Hall: An Acoustic Evening is the fifteenth live album and video by American blues-rock musician Joe Bonamassa. Produced by Kevin Shirley, it was released on June 23, 2017 by J&R Adventures. The album documents Bonamassa's two performances at the Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall in New York City on January 21 and 22, 2016. It is the guitarist and vocalist's second all-acoustic live collection, following 2013's An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House.
