India has diplomatic relations with 201 states/dependencies around the globe,having 199 missions and posts operating globally while plans to open new missions in 2020–21 hosted by 11 UN Member States.

The International Dolls Museum is a large collection of dolls in Delhi,India. It was set up by K. Shankar Pillai,a political cartoonist. Housed in the Children's Book Trust building on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg,accessed through a separate entrance,a winding staircase,leading up to a foyer. The museum has a floor area of 5,184.5 sq ft (481.66 m2) and occupies a portion of the first floor.
Iceland–India relations are the bilateral relations between Iceland and India. Historically,Indo-Icelandic bilateral relations have been friendly but lacked substantive content. Iceland and India established diplomatic relations in 1972. At that time the embassy of Iceland in London,United Kingdom was accredited to India and the embassy of India in Oslo,Norway,was accredited to Iceland. Embassies were established in New Delhi in 2005 and in Reykjavik in 2006.

The American Library in New Delhi is a library under the supervision of the United States embassy,situated in the commercial hub of New Delhi inside the American Center. The Consulate General of Thailand in Chennai is the mission of Thailand in South India representing the interests of the Thai government in the region. The other missions in the country are the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi and the Royal Thai Consulates General in Kolkata and Mumbai. The Chennai Consulate covers the southern states of Tamil Nadu,Andhra Pradesh,Telangana,Karnataka and Kerala. The current Consul General is Nitirooge Phoneprasert. He succeeds Krongkanit Rakcharoen.

Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is an Indian diplomat and politician serving as the Minister of External Affairs of the Government of India since 30 May 2019. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha since 5 July 2019,representing Gujarat. He previously served as the Foreign Secretary from January 2015 to January 2018.
India is represented in Uruguay through its embassy in Buenos Aires in Argentina;it also has a consulate general in Montevideo. Uruguay has an embassy in New Delhi and a consulate in Mumbai. Diplomatic relations were established in 1948. The Uruguayan embassy in New Delhi was first opened in 1960 and operated until 1975. It was re-opened in 1998. In May 2010,Uruguayan ambassador to India Cesar Ferrer requested India to open an embassy in Montevideo.

The Embassy of the United States of America in New Delhi is the diplomatic mission of the United States of America in the Republic of India. The Embassy is headed by the U.S. Ambassador to India. The embassy complex is situated on a 28-acre plot of land in Chanakyapuri,the diplomatic enclave of New Delhi,where most of the embassies are located. The embassy is also accredited to Bhutan with whom the United States maintains no formal relations.

The embassy serves the Northern,Western,Central,Eastern and North-Eastern regions of India;it also includes Bhutan in its jurisdiction. Thailand also has a Consulate General in Chennai that serves the region of South India and is affiliated with the embassy.
