Bank of Africa (BOA) is an international financial services group headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco. It was formed through the 2010 acquisition of Bank of Africa by the Banque Marocaine du Commerce Extérieur, following which BMCE rebranded its commercial operations as Bank of Africa in 2020. The BMCE name survives in the byline "BMCE Group" incorporated in the BOA brand identity.

The Banque Internationale pour le Commerce et l'Industrie (BICI) was a network of banks in sub-Saharan Africa created from 1962 onwards by Paris-based Banque Nationale pour le Commerce et l'Industrie (BNCI). Following successive mergers it was inherited by BNCI's successors the Banque Nationale de Paris then BNP Paribas. BNP Paribas sold most of the BICI network in the early 2020s.

Vista Bank is a banking group in Africa, controlled by Burkina Faso-born financier Simon Tiemtoré. It has been described as one of a new cohort of multinational banking groups in Africa, together with Coris Bank.

Coris Bank, also known by the acronym CBI, is a banking group in Africa with head office in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. By 2024, it had the largest branch network in Burkina Faso. It has been described as one of a new cohort of multinational banking groups in Africa, together with Vista Bank.
