List of current MPBL South Division team rosters

Below is a list of current Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) South Division team rosters.

Roster regulations

Since its inaugural season, the MPBL has put regulations on team rosters as part of the league's intent to showcase local, homegrown talents. These regulations change over time to allow more players to join team rosters. Teams must have a minimum of 15 players in their roster, with the maximum being 22. In each game, however, teams can only field a 15-man roster into the court. All local players are eligible, although teams can also sign up to two Filipino-foreigners. The league currently doesn't allow imports to join the league. [1]

Being based in the grassroots level, each team is required to have at least three homegrown players who come from the team's home locality. Since 2022, with the transition to professional status, the league has also allowed collegiate players to join as long as the player is granted a Special Guest License from the Games and Amusement Board. [2] (The NCAA will no longer allow SGLs to play professionally beginning with its 100th season.) [3]
