Since 1964, various animated and live-action theatrically released films based on Hanna-Barbera cartoons have been created and released in theaters. While alive, Joseph Barbera and William Hanna (the founders of Hanna-Barbera) were involved with each production in some capacity.

  1. ^ Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest is based on both Jonny Quest and Tom and Jerry. However, Tom and Jerry are not considered to be Hanna-Barbera Productions characters since they were created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera while both men were employed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio. Because of this, there are no other Tom and Jerry Feature films and DTV films included on this list.

Jonny Quest is a science fiction–adventure media franchise created by Doug Wildey for Hanna-Barbera. Tom & Jerry Kids is an American animated television series co-produced by Hanna-Barbera and Turner Entertainment Co., and starring the cat-and-mouse duo Tom and Jerry as toddlers. Daniel Campbell Gordon was an American storyboard artist and film director who was best known for his work at Famous Studios and later at Hanna-Barbera Productions. He wrote and directed several Popeye the Sailor and Superman cartoons. Later in his career, he worked on several cartoons featuring Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and many others. His younger brother, George Gordon, also worked for Hanna-Barbera.

The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera was a simulator ride at Universal Studios Florida and one of the park's original attractions. The story line tells that Dick Dastardly and Muttley have kidnapped Elroy Jetson. Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo give chase and the audience is in for the ride of their lives. The attraction opened on June 7, 1990 and closed on October 20, 2002.

It is also the first short involving William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in the 43 years since Tot Watchers in 1958.
