The 2014 Nevada gubernatorial election was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, to elect the Governor of Nevada. Incumbent Republican governor Brian Sandoval won re-election to a second term in office, defeating Democratic nominee Bob Goodman in a landslide. Sandoval won a higher percentage of the vote than any other incumbent governor in 2014. As of 2022, this is the most recent time that the Republican candidate carried Clark County in a statewide race and the last time that an incumbent governor won reelection.

Justin Christopher Jones is an American attorney and politician. He is currently the Clark County Commissioner for District F since 2019 and served as a member of the Nevada Senate for the 9th district from 2012 to 2014. He is a member of the Democratic Party.

The 2018 Nevada gubernatorial election took place on November 6, 2018, to elect the next governor of Nevada. Incumbent Republican Governor Brian Sandoval was ineligible to run for re-election, due to the absolute two-term limit established by the Nevada Constitution. Nevada is one of eight U.S. states that prohibits its governors or any other state and territorial executive branch officials from serving more than two terms, even if they are nonconsecutive.

Lidia S. Stiglich is an American attorney and jurist serving as the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Nevada since 2023. She was appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval on November 10, 2016.

Abbi Silver is an American attorney who served as a justice of the Nevada Supreme Court from 2019 to 2022.

Jennifer Paige Togliatti is the chairwoman of the Nevada Gaming Commission since 2021 and a former Senior Nevada state court judge who is a former nominee to be a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

The Clark County District Attorney is the elected district attorney of Clark County, Nevada. The current Clark County District Attorney is Steven B. Wolfson.

Linda Marie Bell is an American lawyer from Nevada who serves as a justice of the Nevada Supreme Court. Bell previously served as the chief judge of the Nevada Eighth Judicial District.
