Below is the list of the 300 members of the Hellenic Parliament following the May 2012 Greek legislative election. This Parliament lasted only two days, convening for the first time on 17 May 2012, and electing the Speaker on 18 May 2012. On 19 May 2012 the President proclaimed new elections thus ending the parliamentary term.

The Constitution of Greece was created by the Fifth Revisionary Parliament of the Hellenes in 1974, after the fall of the Greek military junta and the start of the Third Hellenic Republic. It came into force on 11 June 1975 and has been amended in 1986, 2001, 2008 and 2019.

Theodora "Dora" Bakoyanni is a Greek politician. From 2006 to 2009 she was Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, the highest position ever to have been held by a woman in the Cabinet of Greece at the time; she was also Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in 2009. Previously she was the Mayor of Athens from 2003 to 2006, the first female mayor in the city's history, and the first woman to serve as mayor of a city hosting the Olympic Games. She also served as Minister for Culture of Greece from 1992 to 1993.

Antonis Samaras is a Greek politician who served as 14th Prime Minister of Greece from 2012 to 2015. A member of the New Democracy party, he was its president from 2009 until 2015. Samaras started his national political career as Minister of Finance in 1989; he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1989 to 1992 and Minister of Culture in 2009.

It covered a large part of urban area of Athens outside the Municipality of Athens, which forms the Athens A constituency. It was established in 1958, to separate the working-class districts from central Athens and reduce the electoral power of the then United Democratic Left, and was abolished in 2018.
