The Minister of Human Rights of Indonesia is the head of the Ministry of Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This position began on 29 October 1999 and was first held by Hasballah M. Saad under the name of Minister of State for Human Rights. Subsequently, this position together with the Minister of Law and the Minister of Immigration and Corrections were combined into the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights, which was then separated again. Yusril Ihza Mahendra is an Indonesian lawyer, politician and academic, who is currently serving as the leader of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) from 2015 to 2024. Previously, he served as the leader of the PBB from 1998 until 2005, Minister of Justice and Human Rights from 2004 until 2007 and 2024 until 2029, and member of the People's Representative Council from 1999 until 2009.
The National Unity Cabinet was the Indonesian cabinet which served under President Abdurrahman Wahid and Vice President Megawati Sukarnoputri from 29 October 1999 until 23 July 2001.
