The Ankara–Istanbul high-speed railway, is a 562 km (349 mi) long high-speed railway linking Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey. The railway runs mostly parallel to the Istanbul-Ankara railway and passes through some of Turkey's most urbanized areas. The line hosts high-speed YHT train service with a maximum operating speed of 250 km/h (160 mph).

The Kızıldere Geothermal Power Plant is a geothermal power plant located at Kızıldere village of Sarayköy district in Denizli Province, southwestern Turkey. The initial power plant with 15 MW installed capacity was expanded in the second phase about 80 MW to 95 MW in total, making the facility Turkey's biggest geothermal power plant. It is planned to expand the power plant in a third and fourth phase.

Emba Hunutlu power station is a 1320 MW coal fired power station in Turkey in Adana Province. As of 2022 it is the largest Chinese foreign direct investment in the country. Despite opposition from many environmental organisations the plant was started up in 2022 and burns Russian coal as it is cheaper than other coal. The plant is less than 2 km from another coal-fired power station, İsken Sugözü.

Çayırhan power station is a 620 MW operational coal fired power station in Turkey and a proposed 800 MW extension, in Ankara Province. In 2019 land was expropriated for another lignite mine, to feed the new plant, which is being opposed as uneconomic and polluting.

Eren Holding is a conglomerate headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. It has business interests in paper, packaging, cement, energy, retail, textile, and tourism. The company was established in 1997 although the history of the group dates back to 1969.

Baymina Ankara power station is a gas-fired power station in Ankara Province central Turkey.

Kazancı Holding is a conglomerate headquartered in Turkey with companies in agriculture, tourism and energy; most under the Aksa name. It owns various power stations via AKSA Power Generation. The hotels are branded Mirada. It is in the Fortune 500 for Turkey.

Antalya gas power plant is a gas-fired power station in Antalya Province south-western Turkey. Average annual generation is around 5 TWh.
