This article lists the prime ministers of Republika Srpska, the head of the Government of Republika Srpska.
The prime minister is nominated by the President of Republika Srpska, and appointed by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. Radovan Višković is the 12th and current prime minister of Republika Srpska. He took office on 18 December 2018, following the 2018 general election. [1]

Republika Srpska is one of the two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other being the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the north and east of the country. Its largest city and administrative centre is Banja Luka, lying on the Vrbas river, and with a population of about 1,228,423 people as of the 2013 census.
Dragan Čavić is a Bosnian Serb politician who was the 5th President of Republika Srpska from 28 November 2002 until 9 November 2006, after having been Vice President from 2000 to 2002.
Milorad Dodik is a Bosnian Serb politician serving as the 8th president of Republika Srpska since 2022, having previously served from 2010 to 2018. He also served as the 7th Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2018 to 2022.

Founded in 1996, it is the governing party in Republika Srpska, with its leader, Milorad Dodik, serving as the current president of Republika Srpska. The party's vice-president, Željka Cvijanović, is the current member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while SNSD member Radovan Višković is the current prime minister of Republika Srpska.

The presidential election of 2007 in the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina was announced after the premature death of President Milan Jelić on 30 September 2007 and was held on 9 December 2007. Until the election took place, Igor Radojičić, also from the ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, was acting president. The election had to be called within fifteen days of Jelić's death; it was called on 11 October 2007, with candidates to be nominated by 16 October 2007.

Republika Srpska elects on a national level a legislature and a president. The National Assembly of the Republika Srpska has 83 members elected for a four-year term. Republika Srpska has a multi-party system, with numerous parties in which no one party usually has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments. A party must receive at least 3% of the votes in one of the nine electoral districts to qualify for any seats.
The Order of the Republika Srpska is the Republika Srpska's highest award. It can be awarded to any head of state, "exceptional person", or institution in recognition of "excellent work strengthening the national consciousness [regarding] the fight for freedom", or to persons who made significant contributions to the creation of the Republika Srpska. Established on April 25, 1993 by an order from the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. The medal may be awarded on a necklace or strips with the order star worn on the breast. The right to grant the award is the sole privilege of the President of Republika Srpska.

General elections were held in Republika Srpska on 2 October 2022 as part of the Bosnian general elections. Voters decided the President of Republika Srpska and the 83 members of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
Jelena Trivić is a Bosnian Serb politician in Republic of Srpska and university professor who served as member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska from 2018 to 2022. She was vice president of the Party of Democratic Progress, until she left it in 2023 to establish the People's Front.
The 1997–1998 crisis in Republika Srpska was caused by a political conflict between the reformist faction led by the President of Republika Srpska, Biljana Plavšić, and the hardline nationalist one led by former President Radovan Karadžić and his associates from the governing Serb Democratic Party. The crisis was resolved by an early election and a victory of the opposition and Plavšić.
