List of storms named Paeng

Last updated

The name Paeng was used four times by the Philippine weather agency PAGASA in the Western Pacific Ocean.

The name Paeng was initially excluded from the original post-2001 PAGASA typhoon name lists, but eventually replaced Paloma which, although unused in 2002, was removed for unknown reasons (although it was possibly removed due to its connection to the late entertainer Pepsi Paloma). Paeng itself was retired after the 2022 season, and it will be replaced by Pilandok (a name derived from the local name of Philippine mouse-deer) for the 2026 season. [1]
