This list of tallest buildings in Hanover ranks high-rise buildings and important landmarks that reach a height of 50 meters (164 feet). The tallest structure in the city is by far the 282-meter-high Telemax, a television tower built in 1992.
Hannover's history of skyscrapers began 1928 with the completion of the 12 storey, 51-meter-high (167-feet) Anzeiger-Hochhaus. [1]
Most of the high-rise buildings are concentrated in two smaller clusters. One is located in the center of Hanover, along Hamburger Allee and Raschplatz and near the main train station with Telemoritz, Lister Tor, Sparkasse Hannover, IntercityHotel and Hamburger Allee 25. The other cluster is the Ihme-Zentrum with Stadtwerke-Hochhaus, Ihmepassage 2, Ihmeplatz 1 and other residential high-rise buildings. [2]

Hanover is the capital and largest city of the German state of Lower Saxony. Its population of 535,932 (2021) makes it the 13th-largest city in Germany as well as the fourth-largest in northern Germany after Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen. The Ihme Centre is a residential, business and former shopping centre in Hanover between the Linden and Calenberger Neustadt quarters. It is located on the western bank of the Ihme river.
Mitte is the first borough of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony. As of 2020, it has 36,645 inhabitants and consists of the quarters Mitte, Calenberger Neustadt, Oststadt and Zoo. The district mayor is Cornelia Kupsch (CDU).
The State Radio House of Lower Saxony is a group of buildings owned by the public broadcaster Norddeutscher Rundfunk in Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony, Germany.
The Sulzer Tower also known as the Wintower is a high-rise office building in Winterthur, Switzerland. Built between 1962 and 1966, the tower srands at 99.7 m (327 ft) with 28 floors and is the current 10th tallest building in Switzerland. It formerly served as the headquarters of the Swiss industrial engineering firm Sulzer and was the first-ever high-rise building in the country.
The Spin is a mixed-use high-rise building in the Gallus district of Frankfurt, Germany. Built between 2018 and 2023, the tower stands at 128 m (420 ft) tall with 31 floors and is the current 29th tallest building in Frankfurt.
