Tangerang City in Banten, Indonesia

Tangerang is a city in the province of Banten, Indonesia. Located on the western border of Jakarta, it is the third largest urban centre in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area after Jakarta and Bekasi; the sixth largest city proper in the nation; and the largest city in Banten province. It has an area of 164.55 square kilometres and an official 2010 Census population of 1,798,601, which had risen to 1,895,486 at the 2020 Census. – making it the eighth most populated suburb in the world at the latter date. North Jakarta is one of the five administrative cities which form Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia. North Jakarta is not self-governed and does not have a city council, hence it is not classified as a proper municipality. It contains the entire coastal area within the Jakarta Special District. In North Jakarta, an area at the estuary of Ciliwung river was the main port for the kingdom of Tarumanegara, which later grew to become Jakarta. Many historic sites and artefacts of Jakarta can be found in North Jakarta. Both ports of Tanjung Priok and historic Sunda Kelapa are located in the city. The city, which covers an area of 139.99 km2, had 1,645,312 inhabitants at the 2010 Census, the latest official estimate is 1,827,731. It has its administrative centre in Tanjung Priok.

Cinere is a district of the city of Depok, West Java, Indonesia. It covers an area of 10.55 km2 and had a population of 107,461 at the 2010 Census; the latest official estimate is 144,038. Cinere borders to its east with the Jagakarsa District and to its north with the Cilandak District, both being part of South Jakarta City; to the west it borders with the Ciputat Timur District and the Pamulang District of South Tangerang City within Banten Province; and to the south it borders the Limo District of Depok City. Cinere has a large multi-racial population as a result of long-term transmigration from elsewhere in West Java and from Banten, that began in the late 1960s.

Tangerang Regency Regency in Banten, Indonesia

Tangerang Regency is a regency of Banten province, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Java. The current regent is Ahmed Zaki Iskandar. Though commonly misunderstood as being a part of Jakarta, Tangerang is actually outside Jakarta City but is part of Greater Jakarta. Since 1993, the Regency has lost territory as first Tangerang city was split off on 27 February 1993 and subsequently South Tangerang city was split off on 29 October 2008. The residual Regency now has an area of 959.61 km² and a population of 2,834,376 at the 2010 Census, growing to 3,245,619 at the 2020 Census. Tigaraksa is the regency seat.

Pondok Cabe Airport

Pondok Cabe Airport is a mixed civilian and military airport in the Pondok Cabe, Pamulang, South Tangerang. The airport is owned by the state oil company Pertamina and operated by Pelita Air Service, which also owned Indopelita Aircraft Services that has a maintenance hangar at this airport. Currently, Pondok Cabe does not handle regular airline traffic. Other than serving as the Maintenance, repair and overhaul base for Pelita Air Service, the airport is also the home of the Aviation Wing of the Indonesian National Police, CASA 212 equipped-Skadron Udara 21/Serba Guna of the Indonesian Army and Naval Aviation (Puspenerbal) of Indonesian Navy, as well as Portela Jaya Light-sport aircraft hangar.

Jakarta–Serpong Toll Road

Jakarta-Serpong toll road is a toll road connecting South Tangerang and Jakarta. The length of the toll road is 13.5 Kilometres. The toll road was completed in 2004 built by PT. Jasamarga Tbk. This toll road crosses South Jakarta and the city of South Tangerang, and connected to the Jakarta Outer Ring Road in Ulujami and Petukangan areas.

South Tangerang City in Banten, Indonesia

South Tangerang is a city in the province of Banten, Indonesia. Located 30 km (19 mi) on the southwestern border of Jakarta, the city forms part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area. It was administratively separated from Tangerang Regency on October 29, 2008. According to the 2020 Census, the city population was 1,354,350 inhabitants. The total area is 147.19 km2 (56.83 sq mi). It's second-largest city in Banten in terms of population, and has grown rapidly, not only as Jakarta's satellite city, but also the development of business districts and commerce due to presence of large-scale planned town by private developers.

Bumi Serpong Damai, commonly referred to BSD City is a privately developed planned community at Serpong district of South Tangerang, within Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. The project was initiated in 1984 by a group of private developers and starred in 1989. The town is implemented and managed by the holding company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk, which is owned by Sinar Mas Land, a subsidiary of the Sinar Mas Group, a large industrial conglomerate in Indonesia. BSD City encompasses a total area of approximately 6,000 hectares. The homes in the community are designed to be suitable for Indonesia's upper-middle class, in gated neighbourhoods, each with a different theme. At the time of project development during 90's, BSD City was the most ambitious urban planning scheme in Indonesia to combine housing, business and commercial properties. BSD is a complete community, with businesses, schools, shopping malls, hospitals and hotels.

Serpong Station (SRP) is a railway station located in Serpong, Serpong, South Tangerang, Banten. It is located not far from Bumi Serpong Damai complex or commonly known as BSD City. This station used to be the terminus for trains in the green line, now the line has been extended to Parung Panjang, Maja and Rangkasbitung. This station mostly served the commuter in Greater Jakarta.

Alam Sutera

Alam Sutera is a mixed township at South Tangerang City and Tangerang City of Banten province in Indonesia. It is located south-west of capital Jakarta and within Jabodetabek metro area. The township has a land area of about 800 hectares. Most of the area are located in North Serpong, South Tangerang City, while some area, especially the CBD, are in Pinang sub-district, Tangerang City.

The Serpong-Balaraja Toll road or Serbaraja Toll Road is 39.8 kilometer toll road that will connect Serpong and Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, in Banten province. An extension from the Jakarta–Serpong Toll Road, it will provide access from Serpong to Merak. The toll road will be connected to Tangerang-Merak Toll Road and Jakarta-Serpong Toll Road. Construction was initially scheduled to commence in 2016, but was delayed because of land acquisition issues. Construction is scheduled for completion in December 2021.

Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police

The Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Region of the Indonesian National Police, known locally as Polda Metro Jaya is the regional level of the Indonesian National Police which covers the Jakarta metropolitan area, comprising Jakarta, Tangerang, South Tangerang, Bekasi, Bekasi Regency, and Depok. Polda Metro Jaya is led by a local police chief who held the Rank of Inspector General of Police. Polda Metro Jaya is the only regional police in Indonesia which has the A+ Status due to its position to maintain a huge area of security and order in the capital of Indonesia (Jakarta) containing multiple regions and cities that surround the capital. The use of the word "Metropolitan" is because Jakarta is a metropolitan city.

Gading Serpong City in West Jakarta, Indonesia

Gading Serpong is a township, 21 km west of Jakarta at Kelapa Dua and Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency of Banten province in Indonesia. Total land area of this satellite city is about 1500 hectares, which was being first developed by PT Summarecon Agung as Summarecon Serpong. In 1993, Keris Group in-cooperated with the development and the name was changed as Gading Serpong. Later Paramount Land also joined the project. To accelerate development in 2004, partners of the project decided to develop the Gading Serpong region individually, with a share of approximately equal shares. Now the township is mainly divided into two parts as Summarecon Serpong and Paramount Serpong. The township already has schools, universities and colleges, modern markets, sports and recreation clubs, golf courses and clubs, hotels, convention centres, and hospitals.

Bina Nusantara University, also known as BINUS University, is a private university in Indonesia. The main campus of the university is located at Alam Sutera, South Tangerang. Most of its campuses are located within the area of Greater Jakarta Region. It also has campuses at Bandung and Malang.

Cinere–Serpong Toll Road is one of the toll roads which are part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2 which will connect to connect with the Kunciran–Serpong Toll Road in the west and the Cinere–Jagorawi Toll Road in the east. This toll road that connects South Tangerang with Depok, crosses several areas, such as Jombang, Ciputat, Pamulang, Pondok Cabe and Cinere. The toll road will be managed by PT Cinere Serpong Jaya (CSJ), the majority of whose shares are owned by PT Jasa Marga. The toll road is now under construction which is expected to be operational in 2019.

Rawa Buntu railway station railway station in Indonesia

Rawa Buntu Station (RU) is a class III railway station located in Rawa Buntu, Serpong, South Tangerang. This station is included in the Operational Area I Jakarta, and is located adjacent to the planned city complex Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD). This station is not far from the Serpong exit on the west Jakarta–Serpong Toll Road. In addition, the station is strategically located because it is close to a residential complex in the Serpong area.
