Live & Inspired is the first live album by American rock band Godsmack. Released on May 15, 2012, [4] the album features live renditions of songs from each of the band's first four studio albums [4] and includes a bonus disc of four cover version recordings.
Disc 1 of the album contains 13 tracks recorded during the band's performance at the Detroit Fox Theatre in 2007, with the band's lead singer, Sully Erna, stating that the venue has a "special kind of fan base". [5] Although released two years after their then-latest studio album, The Oracle, the tracks were performed prior to the release of that album, thus none of its tracks show up on the set list. [6]
Disc 2 contains various covers of other rock artists.

Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. Since its formation, Godsmack has released seven studio albums, one EP, four DVDs, one compilation album, and one live album.
Godsmack is the major label debut album by American rock band Godsmack. It was released by Republic Records and Universal Records on August 25, 1998. The album's recording was initially paid for by the band, at a cost of $2,600, at New Alliance Studios in Boston, Massachusetts, and released through the band's own record label E. K. Records Company, under the title All Wound Up..., in February 1997. When the band was signed to Republic/Universal in June 1998, All Wound Up... was partly edited and remixed, fully remastered at Sterling Sound in New York City, and given a new artwork and layout before being re-released as the eponymous album.
Salvatore Paul Erna Jr. is an American singer, musician, and songwriter, best known as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for rock band Godsmack. He is also a harmonica player, drummer, and percussionist, performing these on albums and at live shows. He was ranked 47th in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader.
