Live at the Liquid Room, Tokyo is the first live DJ mix album by American electronic music producer Jeff Mills. It was released on May 20, 1996, by React Music Limited and Sony Music Japan.
The album was recorded live October 28, 1995, at the Liquidroom venue in Tokyo, Japan. Mills used two turntables and two reel-to-reel tape machines to create the mix, which includes his work interwoven with other songs, such as "Strings of Life". [1]

Live at the Liquid Room, Tokyo has been met with widespread critical acclaim. In a 10/10 review for Pitchfork , Gabriel Szatan wrote "Liquid Room was a mix of such molten intensity that it warped the idea of what DJing could be. The received wisdom of how to construct a club set—one song after another; build-up, breakdown—was obliterated by this lean, striking man mixing like a Spirograph, executing a blur of hip-hop battle techniques over waves of crushing pressure." [1]
In a 5-star review for AllMusic, Jason Birchmeier wrote "Ostensibly a DJ mix but also a showcase for Mills' production work, the album provides ample evidence of his brilliance over the course of three distinct segments, each comprised of numerous tracks, roughly half of which are Mills' own productions." [2]
In June 1996 the album peaked at #45 in the UK compilation chart published by the Official Charts Company. [3]

Repentance is the ninth studio album by Esham. Released in 2003, it is his first album of new material to be released on Psychopathic Records, and his second album on the label overall, after the compilation Acid Rain.
Esham Attica Smith, known mononymously as Esham, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Emerging as one of the first ever hip hop artists from Detroit, Esham released his debut studio album, Boomin' Words from Hell, in 1989 at the age of 16. Since then, he has gone on to release 21 studio albums in total and is best known as a representative of the hip hop subgenre horrorcore. In 1992, he co-founded the horrorcore group Natas. He and his brother James Smith founded and ran the Detroit hip hop label Reel Life Productions.
Alive II is the second live album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on October 14, 1977, by Casablanca Records. The band had released three albums since the previous live outing, the 1975 release Alive!, so they drew upon the variety of new tracks, with Eddie Kramer producing. The album is one of the best selling in the Kiss discography, being the band's first to be certified double platinum in February 1996, the same month the Kiss reunion tour was announced. It has continued to sell in the US in the Soundscan era, selling over 300,000 copies from 1991 and to March 2012.

Prior to signing with Def Jam, Rihanna was discovered by record producer Evan Rogers in Barbados, who helped Rihanna record demo tapes to send out to several record labels. Jay-Z, the former chief executive officer (CEO) and president of Def Jam, was given Rihanna's demo by Jay Brown, his A&R at Def Jam, and invited her to audition for the label after hearing the song that would become her first single, "Pon de Replay". She auditioned for Jay-Z and L.A. Reid, the former CEO and president of record label group The Island Def Jam Music Group, and was signed on the spot to prevent her from signing with another record label.

The album was later reissued with a different track listing by DreamWorks Records in 1997 under the title Dr. Octagonecologyst. React Music Limited was a British independent record label, based in London, formed in 1990 by James Horrocks and Thomas Foley. James Horrocks was initially involved with successful dance music independent Rhythm King, and React pursued a similar approach — specifically electronic dance music, house music, acid house, techno and rave, along with newer "dance" oriented subgenres which emerged throughout the 1990s. These included hard house, tech house, trance, hardbag, happy hardcore, drum and bass and chill out.
Alive 2007 is the second live album by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, released on 19 November 2007 by Virgin Records. It features Daft Punk's performance at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy arena in Paris on 14 June 2007 during their Alive tour. FabricLive.37 is a 2007 album by the British dubstep producers Caspa and Rusko. The album was released as part of the FabricLive Mix Series and was the first edition of the series to feature the dubstep genre of electronic music. "11th Dimension" is a song by Julian Casablancas and is the lead single from his debut album Phrazes for the Young. It was first performed live on the talk show The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien on October 27, 2009. Pitchfork Media awarded the track as "Best New Track" and rated "11th Dimension" the 66th best song of 2009, calling it "the strongest [Julian's] sounded since Room on Fire. It's a blast of retro-futuristic synths, steam-rolling guitar licks, and slicing, dicing hi-hat, and the busy pulse of the production cuts through the detachment and manages to convey a sense of fun, as if he's finally enjoying the creative experience".

Femm-Isation is the debut studio album by Japanese duo FEMM. Maximum10 and Avex Inc. released it digitally on October 1, 2014, and Avex Trax reissued it as a double album on February 3, 2016, alongside the group's extended play Pow!/L.C.S.. After forming in 2013 and releasing their debut extended play Astroboy (2014), Avex Trax enlisted several collaborators to work on new music for FEMM, including Mark Weinburg, Andrew Richard Smith, Dreamlab, Emanuel Kiriakou, and Dan Omelio, among others.

Rob Tissera is a British hard house disc jockey and record producer. He has achieved chart success under his own name, and with Ian Bland as Quake. He is known for his live performances at events such as Global Gathering, Creamfields and Homelands, and for promoting the Leeds-based Kissdafunk club night. Tissera's music has been played by a range of well-known DJs, including Pete Tong, Carl Cox, and Judge Jules.
