Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival is a live album by American jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal featuring performances recorded at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 1985 and released on the Atlantic label. [3]
The double album was released in 1986. Billboard listed it as a "recommended" album in November of that year. [4] Scott Yanow, in his review for Allmusic, states "This particular group is often reminiscent of Jamal's trios of the '50s, although with more modern bass playing and some denser piano than before". [1]

The Congregation is an album by American tenor saxophonist Johnny Griffin, recorded in 1957 and released on the Blue Note label. It would be his last recording for the label. The cover art was designed by Andy Warhol and Reid Miles.
Freeflight is a live album by American jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal featuring performances recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1971 for the Impulse! label. Additional performances from this concert were released as Outertimeinnerspace in 1972. It was also the first album to have Jamal play electric piano. The Rhodes Piano was given to him by somebody living in Switzerland, and Jamal said he would continue to play the instrument in the future as well as his standard acoustic piano.
