[1] This video was first released in 1981 on VHS and BETA format by Thorn EMI,and also on Pioneer Laserdisc in co-operation with Capitol Records and Aquarius Records,Canada. April Wine is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 and based in Halifax,Nova Scotia. Led by singer-guitarist-songwriter Myles Goodwyn from its inception in 1969 until his death in 2023,April Wine first experienced success with their second album,On Record (1972),which reached the top 40 in Canada and yielded two hit singles:a cover of Elton John's "Bad Side of the Moon",a top 20 hit in Canada;and a cover of Hot Chocolate's "You Could Have Been a Lady",a number 2 song in Canada.

He released 16 studio albums with April Wine,and four albums as a solo artist. Goodwyn led the group from its inception and garage band roots to its multiplatinum sales peak. He received the National Achievement Award at the 2002 SOCAN Awards,an ECMA Lifetime Achievement Award,and was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. He was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame as a member of April Wine.
