Viktor Arsenevich Kapitonov was a Russian road cyclist who competed at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics. In 1956, he finished 32nd individually and 6th with the Soviet team. In 1960, he won the individual road race and finished third in the 100 km team time trial. His gold medal was the first for Soviet cyclists. At the end of the race Kapitonov mistakenly sprinted for the finish with one lap to go, surprising his main rival Livio Trapè. In the last lap Trapè sprinted first, but Kapitonov caught him up in the last few meters.
Livio Isotti was an Italian professional road bicycle racer from 1950 to 1955. He also competed in the individual and team road race events at the 1948 Summer Olympics.
Livio Franceschini was an Italian boxer who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. In 1924 he was eliminated in the second round of the featherweight class after losing his fight to Raymond Devergnies.
Neville Wright is a Canadian bobsledder. Wright competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in the four-man competition, finishing fifth.

Simon Lyle Wi Rutene is an alpine skier from New Zealand. He has competed for New Zealand at four Olympics. He decided to be a ski racer at 12, and went to a U.S. ski resort on his own. At 16 he was sponsored, and did his first downhill run at Wengen, Switzerland.
Livio Trapè is a former Italian cyclist. At the 1960 Olympics he won a gold medal in the team time trial and a silver medal in the individual road race. After that he turned professional and competed until 1966, albeit with little success.
Tonga sent a delegation to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from 7–23 February 2014. This was the Pacific island nation's debut at the Winter Olympic Games. The Tongan delegation consisted of one luge athlete, Bruno Banani, who had changed his name in a marketing gimmick to match that of German brand Bruno Banani. In his event, the men's singles, he came in 32nd place out of 39 competitors.

Livio Wenger is a Swiss long track speed skater and inline speed skater. In 2017, he competed in World Games 2017 in Wrocław, Poland where he won a silver medal in the 10k track points-elimination. At the 2018 Winter Olympics he competed in the 1500 metres, 5000 metres and in the Mass start where he finished fourth.
Livio Tesconi was an Italian rower. He competed in the men's eight event at the 1956 Summer Olympics.
