The Best of the Pink Floyd, also issued as Masters of Rock, is a compilation album of early Pink Floyd music, concentrating on singles and album tracks from 1967 to 1968.
The Black Album is the fourth studio album by English punk rock band the Damned, and the first to feature Paul Gray on bass guitar. It was released on 3 November 1980 by Chiswick as a double album, with "Curtain Call" filling the whole of side 3, and a selection of live tracks recorded at Shepperton Studios at a special concert for Damned fan club members on side 4. The song "13th Floor Vendetta" paid tribute to the film The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971), opening with the lyrics "...the organ plays to midnight on Maldine Square tonight".

Soundtrack from the Film Mabuta no Ura is the ninth studio album by Japanese experimental band Boris, released on June 29, 2005, through Catune and Inoxia and on November 12 of the same year through Essence Music. The album includes the song "A Bao A Qu" which shares the same name as the version included on the album The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked. However, both versions are quite different from one another. The band used this version of the song "A Bao A Qu" and created a 7" single with an extended version of the track. A music video was also released for this song but it is based on the 7" single. There is yet another version of the song which was included on the 2010 compilation, Boris / Variations + Live in Japan, and a live recording is included in Archive II. The 2016 re-release of Pink includes a bonus disc with the track "Your Name Part 2," apparently a sequel to the track of that name from this album.
Machetazo was a Spanish grindcore/goregrind band from A Coruña formed in 1994. They were one of the few surviving bands from the Spanish underground extreme music scene of the nineties.
Corrupted are a Japanese doom/sludge metal band. They are known for avoiding interviews and publicity. They have recorded several albums, including split albums with other artists and perform regularly in Japan and abroad.
Relentless is the debut studio album by American doom metal band Pentagram. It was self-released in 1985 as Pentagram, but was reissued by Peaceville Records in 1993 with the new title and reordered track listing. It was also issued as a two-disc split CD with Day of Reckoning in 1996 and then re-released again in 2005 as a digipak CD. The album is now commonly known as Relentless.
First Daze Here (The Vintage Collection) is the first of two compilation albums featuring 1970s material of doom metal band Pentagram. It was released by Relapse Records in 2001 and was followed by First Daze Here Too in 2006. It marked the first time that these early Pentagram recordings were officially released with worldwide distribution. The vinyl version came with a bonus 7", a replica of the 1972 Macabre single containing the songs "Be Forewarned" and "Lazylady". Many of the songs were re-recorded for Pentagram's 1980s and 1990s albums. The 2016 CD reissue of the compilation added a second disc – the previously vinyl-only Macabre single replica, this time in compact disc form.

New York Sessions '67 is a two-disc retrospective album of recordings made by Van Morrison in 1967 for Bang Records that were later released in the 1990s. Other album releases with the same recordings have been called Payin' Dues and The Complete Bang Sessions. The first disc presents material already available on Blowin' Your Mind! and on the previous Bang compilation albums T.B. Sheets and Bang Masters. The second disc contains the notorious "Contractual Obligation" session – thirty-one improvised nonsense songs Morrison recorded in order to fulfill his contract with Bang Records. According to Erik Hage, the song "Thirty Two" "takes a swipe at Berns's...production style and 'Brown Eyed Girl': Morrison sings 'we'll get three guitars .. and we'll do the sha, sha-la-la bit.'" Tracks from this album would be officially released on the compilation album The Authorized Bang Collection.
Songs from the North I, II & III is the sixth studio album by Finnish doom metal band Swallow the Sun. It is a triple album and was released on 13 November 2015, via Century Media. Each disc is focused on a different facet of the band's style: Gloom is a more typical death/doom album, Beauty primarily acoustic and folksy, and Despair a funeral doom album; these disc titles are also a single song title on their second album, Ghosts of Loss. This is the last release with Aleksi Munter and Markus Jämsen, who quit Swallow the Sun in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Songs from the North I, II & III received a generally positive reception from critics.
The Authorized Bang Collection is a compilation album by Van Morrison containing every track that Morrison recorded for Bang Records in the 1960s. It was released on April 28, 2017, by Legacy Recordings on the Bang label.
