Loganathan Srinivasan is an Indian cinematographer who predominantly works in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada film industries. He is known for his cinematography in the critically and commercially successful film Ustad Hotel.

Career

Beginning his career in Telugu films, Loganathan shot for two films featuring Allari Naresh, before moving to work more in the Malayalam film industry. He shot for films including Moonnamathoral (2006), Annan Thambi (2008) and Major Ravi's war film, Kurukshetra (2008), before winning acclaim for his work in Ustad Hotel (2012). [1] [2]

He has notable works in the Tamil film industry with Yash Raj Films' Aaha Kalyanam (2014), after which he shot for Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah (2014) and Vaaliba Raja (2015). [3] [4]

Santosh Subramaniam is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Genelia while Prakash Raj, Geetha and Sayaji Shinde play supporting roles. It is a remake of the Telugu film, Bommarillu (2006). Genelia, Raj, and Satya Krishnan reprise their roles in the film, which revolves around a father and son relationship; the father dotes on his son, who resents the same. The son's choices and his ambitions to achieve something in life are subdued by his father.

<i>Kadhal 2 Kalyanam</i> Unreleased film directed by Milind Rau

Kadhal 2 Kalyanam is an unreleased Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by newcomer Milind Rau that stars debutante Sathya, brother of Tamil actor Arya, and Divya Spandana, whilst, Jayashree, Nagendra Prasad, Kasthuri and Anuja Iyer play pivotal roles. Noted film critic Baradwaj Rangan had written the dialogues, while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score and soundtrack. The cinematography and editing were handled by P. S. Vinod and Leo John Paul, respectively. Pre-production works began by mid-2008, while the filming continued for over one year, being completed by July 2010. The film was jointly produced by Mirchi Movies and East Coast Entertainment, who are now not in the film-making business. Hence the movie remains unreleased.

Aaha Kalyanam is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by debutant A. Gokul Krishna and produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. A remake of Maneesh Sharma's 2010 Hindi film, Band Baaja Baaraat, the film stars Simran, Nani and Vaani Kapoor. Although it was planned for bilingual release, it was shot completely in Tamil, and a dubbed Telugu version was released simultaneously along with the Tamil version.
