Lokesh Productions, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is an Indian production company best known for making non-fiction shows in the Kannada language. It was founded in 2013 by Girija Lokesh and Srujan Lokesh, wife and son of veteran Kannada actor Lokesh, son of Subbaiah Naidu, who was credited as the first hero of Kannada silent movies. The production house has produced several successful shows on television including Challenge, Chota Champion, [1] and Kaasige Toss, [2] all being reality shows. Currently, the house produces Majaa Talkies , [3] [4] [5] a sketch comedy show which has been a huge hit among the Kannada audience.

<i>Comedy Nights with Kapil</i> Indian comedy television show

Comedy Nights With Kapil is an Indian Hindi-language sketch comedy and celebrity talk show hosted by Kapil Sharma, that premiered on Colors TV on 22 June 2013 and ended on 24 January 2016. Many of the episodes feature celebrity guests who usually appear to promote their latest films in a comedy-focused talk show format. On 25 September 2013, a fire broke out on the sets of the show at Film City in Goregaon causing the entire set to collapse and an estimated loss of 20 Crores. Following the fire, two episodes were shot on sets of Bigg Boss in Lonavla. In September 2013, the show became India's highest rated scripted TV show. At the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year awards, Sharma was awarded the Entertainer of the Year award for 2013.
