Lonerism is the second studio album by Australian musical project Tame Impala, released on 5 October 2012 by Modular Recordings. Like the band's debut studio album, Innerspeaker (2010), Lonerism was written, recorded, performed, and produced by Kevin Parker, with live member Jay Watson contributing on two tracks. Recorded mostly in Perth, Australia, and Paris, France, Lonerism builds on the psychedelic sound of its predecessor and features fewer guitars and more synthesisers and samples. Parker attempted to incorporate his love for pop music into his songwriting for the record through catchier melodies. Many tracks feature ambient sounds recorded by Parker with a dictaphone. The album's theme of isolation is reflected in the album cover, featuring an image of a fenced-off Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris.

His works have been influenced by acts such as Silverchair, Frank Ocean, and TLC. Allday released his debut album, Startup Cult, in July 2014 to Australian audiences. Startup Cult is the debut album by Australian rap artist Allday. It was released on 4 July 2014. It was released internationally via Wind-up Records on 18 September 2015. The album spawned three singles: "Right Now", "You Always Know the DJ", and "Wolves".

Gang of Youths

Gang of Youths are an Australian indie rock group from Sydney. The band consists of principal songwriter David Le'aupepe, Max Dunn, Jung Kim, Donnie Borzestowski (drums) and Tom Hobden. Kim is Korean-American, Dunn is from New Zealand and Borzestowski is Polish-Australian, Hobden is British, while Le'aupepe is of Samoan-Jewish descent. "In Motion" is a song by Australian rapper Allday featuring Japanese Wallpaper. It was released in March 2017 as the third and final single from the Allday's second studio album Speeding. The singles was certified gold in Australia in 2018.

Grace Kathleen Elizabeth Shaw, known professionally as Mallrat, is an Australian musician, singer, and rapper from Brisbane. Mallrat has released three EPs: Uninvited (2016), In the Sky (2018) and Driving Music (2019). Gabriel Strum, known professionally as Japanese Wallpaper, is an Australian indie pop singer-songwriter and producer. He released his debut single "Breathe In" featuring Wafia on 10 October 2013. The song featured in Zach Braff's film Wish I Was Here.
