Lorrie Ann Clemo (born January 1961) is an American political scientist who is the 15th president of D'Youville University,serving since January 2017. [1] [2] She also sits on the Board of Directors at Kaleida Health [3] the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, [4] the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities in New York (CICU), [5] and the Western New York Higher Education Consortium. [2] Previously she served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the State University of New York at Oswego since 2012. [6] [7]
Clemo completed her undergraduate studies in political science at LeMoyne College,graduating in 1983. [8] She earned master's and doctoral degrees in political science,public administration,and policy analysis from Binghamton University,completing her Ph.D. in 1998. [8]
Succeeding Sister Denise A. Roche,and interim President William Mariani, [9] Clemo was formally inaugurated as President of D'Youville College September 29,2017 after serving as president since January 2017. [10] Her inaugural address entitled "The Purpose of Our Being" reflected on both the influence of her parents and the institution's history. [11] Most recently,she held a press conference announcing the approval of a charter amendment for "D'Youville College" to become "D'Youville University" [12] [13] and has been focusing on the implementation of a four day,32-hour work week at D'Youville College,which is described as a multifaceted health and wellness initiative for staff and administration. She previously served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs,Chief of Staff,Assistant to the President for Special Programs and Campus Communications,and Faculty Fellow to the President at the State University of New York at Oswego. [16] Clemo was an American Council on Education Fellow in the class of 2007-2008. [17] She was also a faculty member and Director of the Public Policy and Administration department at the State University of New York at Oswego. [18] [19]

Clemo is a resident of Buffalo,New York. She and her husband,Steve Nicolais,have four grown children. [8]

Satish K. Tripathi is an Indian-American academic,a computer scientist and academic administrator. He is the first foreign-born president of the University at Buffalo (UB),the flagship of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Previously,he served as provost of University at Buffalo from 2004 to 2011. From 1997-2004,Tripathi served as dean of the Bourns College of Engineering at University of California,Riverside.
William R. Greiner was President of the University at Buffalo (UB) in the State University of New York (SUNY) system from 1991 to 2004,where he worked for 42 years. Prior to becoming president,Greiner served in other capacities in the University at Buffalo Law School,and in UB's administration. He was educated at both Yale University and Wesleyan University,earning degrees in economics and law,including a doctorate in law from Yale. Under Greiner's leadership,research,educational,sports,arts,and student living complexes were constructed. Greiner co-wrote two books. He retired from UB in 2009,and died shortly thereafter due to heart surgery complications.

LeMura is an American scientist and academic who is the current and 14th President of Le Moyne College in Syracuse,N.Y.,the youngest of the 27 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. She is the first female layperson to be named the president of a Jesuit institution of higher education in the world.
