Lost Saga was a free-to-play 3D fighting game developed by I.O. Entertainment. The game featured characters from science fiction, culture, and real-world history, and offered players the ability to switch characters on the fly to improve gameplay, combinations, and the overall combat experience.

In the North American market, Lost Saga was originally launched in 2009, hosted by OGPlanet and playable on Microsoft Windows [1] via a standalone client. The service was transferred to WeMade USA in 2013, [2] who then transferred it over to Z8Games during the same year. [3] Z8Games would eventually cross-launch Lost Saga on Steam, starting on November 27, 2014, [4] with each version of the game being identical to each other.

On September 19, 2019, the service for North American Lost Saga was shut down in its entirety by Z8Games. [5] As there was no immediate notice on whether or not the service would be transferred to another company, it was assumed Lost Saga's time in the North American region had come to an end. However, in February 2021, Papaya Play announced their own North American Lost Saga launch for April 6, 2021, once again returning Lost Saga to the region. Prior to an official launch, a closed-beta period was run throughout most of February 2021.

It would later be announced on April 6, 2021, less than 24 hours prior to launch, that Papaya Play's version of North American Lost Saga would not be launched, citing issues with the original developers of the game. [6]

Indonesian Lost Saga (ILS) was hosted by Gemscool, until it shut down on June 30, 2020. [7]  

The game's service still exists in South Korean market.

PlayStation Network (PSN) is a digital media entertainment service provided by Sony Interactive Entertainment. ijji Game portal website

ijji was a free multiplayer game portal website. Games hosted at ijji ranged from traditional shooters and MMORPGs to more accessible casual games, all of which were free to download and play, and with the majority featuring competitive multiplayer gameplay. The ijji website opened on July 7, 2006. The American-based game portal has published some well known worldwide titles that include Alliance of Valiant Arms, GunZ, and Soldier Front.

Mythos was a multiplayer role-playing video game that was originally under development by Flagship Studios Seattle, a subdivision of Flagship Studios, a video game company composed largely of ex-Blizzard North employees who were lead producers of the Diablo series. Due to financial issues at Flagship Studios, Flagship Seattle was subsequently dissolved, leaving the intellectual property rights in the hands of the Korean game company HanbitSoft. HanbitSoft's corporate partners will continue to develop Mythos for a planned release in South Korea and North America.

OGPlanet was a publisher of free-to-play, massively multiplayer online (MMO), downloadable PC games, based in Torrance, California, with offices in Vancouver, Berlin, London and Seoul. Although their games were free-to-play, OGPlanet offered "Astros", an in-game currency that players could purchase online through Xsolla using a variety of payment methods including credit and debit cards and PayPal; Astros were used for in-game enhancements. On 29 September 2017, the final game being published by OGPlanet, Uncharted Waters Online, was shut down for transfer to Papaya Play and the OGPlanet website taken offline.

Tactical Intervention was a video game developed by Minh "Gooseman" Le, the co-creator of Counter-Strike. It was a multiplayer first-person shooter in which a team of counter-terrorists face off against a team of terrorists, much like Counter-Strike. The game featured dogs, riot shields and the ability to rappel. Tactical Intervention entered closed beta for North America on May 28, 2010; however, this did not result in the release of the game. OGPlanet has since picked up Tactical Intervention for release in North America. The game has also since been shown at GDC 2012 in San Francisco, where Gooseman demonstrated the game and was interviewed by various gaming media including GameTrailers, IGN, GameSpot and more. Joystiq launched its exclusive beta on March 4 until March 8. OGPlanet launched the open beta from the March 14 up to the March 25. They also revealed the game's release date as March 28, 2013.

I.O. Entertainment was a South Korean-based Developer of Lost Saga and Survival Project. I.O. Entertainment's Survival Project was developed prior to November 2001, and was officially released in 2003. I.O. Entertainment's second game, Lost Saga was developed, and released independently on February 26, 2009, and continues to be updated as the source version of the game with occasional updates.
On March 24, 2011, Joymax announced the acquisition of I.O. Entertainment.

Founded in June 2008, the company was based in Seattle, Washington, and is best known for publishing massively multiplayer online role-playing game TERA, which was developed by parent company Bluehole. The original En Masse leadership team had extensive experience in the video game industry at leading companies, including Blizzard Entertainment, Microsoft, NCsoft, ArenaNet, and Electronic Arts. GeForce Now is the brand used by Nvidia for its cloud gaming service. The Nvidia Shield version of GeForce Now, formerly known as Nvidia Grid, launched in beta in 2013, with Nvidia officially unveiling its name on September 30, 2015. The subscription service provided users with unlimited access to a library of games hosted on Nvidia servers for the life of the subscription, being delivered to subscribers through streaming video. Certain titles were also available via a "Buy & Play" model. This version was discontinued in 2019, and transitioned to a new version of the service that enabled Shield users to play their own games.

The Epic Games Store is a video game digital distribution service and storefront operated by Epic Games. It launched in December 2018 as a software client, for Microsoft Windows and macOS, and online storefront. Android and iOS versions of the store launched in August 2024, with the iOS version only available for European users. The service provides friends list management, game matchmaking, and other features. Epic Games has further plans to expand the feature set of the storefront but it does not plan to add as many features as other digital distribution platforms, such as discussion boards or user reviews, instead using existing social media platforms to support these.

Stadia was a cloud gaming service developed and operated by Google. Known in development as Project Stream, the service debuted through a closed beta in October 2018, and publicly launched in November 2019. Stadia was accessible through Chromecast Ultra and Android TV devices, on personal computers via the Google Chrome web browser and other Chromium-based browsers, Chromebooks and tablets running ChromeOS, and the Stadia mobile app on supported Android devices. There was also an experimental mode with support for all Android devices that were capable of installing the Stadia mobile app. In December 2020, Google released an iOS browser-based progressive web application for Stadia, enabling gameplay in the Safari browser.
