He was featured in Wisden Cricketers of the Decade at the end of 2019. He also was included in the ICC Test Team of the Decade at the end of 2020.
The 2006–07 ICC Intercontinental Cup was the third edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup first-class cricket tournament,an international cricket tournament between nations who have not been awarded Test status by the International Cricket Council. Defending champions Ireland won the tournament after three wins and one drawn game,defeating Canada by an innings in the final,and stretched their streak of unbeaten matches in the Intercontinental Cup to eight.
The ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup is an international cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) contested by national under-19 teams. The tournament was formally hosted by India,with matches played in Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was an international cricket tournament that took place in April 2019 in Namibia. It was contested by six teams;Canada,Hong Kong,Oman,Papua New Guinea,the United States and tournament hosts Namibia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The final and third-place playoff match were granted One Day International (ODI) status by the International Cricket Council. Namibia won the tournament,after they beat Oman by 145 runs in the final. It was Namibia's first win in an ODI match,and it was the first ever ODI match played by Oman.
The 2020 Oman Tri-Nation Series was the fourth round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in Oman in January 2020. It was a tri-nation series between Oman,Namibia and the United Arab Emirates cricket teams,with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
