She was player of the match when Harps won their third successive All Ireland junior club championship in 2008. [2] She was UCD camogie player of the year for 2004. [3] She and sisters Áine and Elaine were leading figures on the Harps team which won three successive All Ireland junior club championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008. [4]

She was also a member of the Galway senior panel that unsuccessfully contested the All Ireland finals of 2010 and 2011 against Wexford. She was Galway camogie player of the year 1998 and 2008 and a member of the Team of the Championship for 2011. She was also an All-Star nominee in 2010.

Veronica Curtin is a camogie player. She won camogie All Star awards in 2006 and 2007 and played in the 2008, 2010 and 2011 All Ireland finals and 2009 All Ireland club final. Ellen ‘Nell’ McCarthy was the 15th president of the Camogie Association and the most successful camogie coach of all time, training Dublin camogie teams at a time they won 18 All Irelands in a 19-year-period. She was born in Carrigtwohill in Cork. Her uncle Jimmy Kennedy captained Cork senior hurlers to All Ireland honours in 1919.

Eimear McDonnell is a camogie player, winner of an All-Star award in 2005, a Lynchpin award, predecessor of the All Star awards, in 2003, a Texaco award in 2003, and five All Ireland medals in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004. She was previously nominated for an All Star award in 2004.
