Mattias Huss of Release Magazine gave Love Is the Law a mixed review, saying "Gary's work is fumbling about uncertainly, turning over some interesting stones but never really stopping to look under them" and "no track really makes a mark in this unwholesome wholeness, but promise is hiding in there." [10]

Mentallo and the Fixer is the project name used by Texan electro-industrial musicians Gary Dassing (Mentallo) and Dwayne Dassing from 1988 to 1999, and by Gary Dassing alone from 1999 to the present day. The band has several releases on the American record label, Metropolis Records. They are named after two Marvel Comics characters.
Out to Lunch is the debut studio album of Mainesthai, released in June 1994 by Zoth Ommog Records. It is a side project, along with Benestrophe, of Gary Dassing and Dwayne Dassing of Mentallo & the Fixer with vocalist Michael Greene.
