Love Island Sweden (Swedish : Love Island Sverige) is the first season of the Swedish version of Love Island . [1] The series premiered on 19 August 2018 and is broadcast on Sjuan. The series is filmed in Corfu, Greece. Through app voting the viewers can vote on which contestants should date each other and who has to leave the Love Island Villa over a six-week filming period. TV4 is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union.

Carina Lilly Berg, during a time Luuk, is a Swedish comedian and television presenter. Berg grew up in Åkersberga, studied the aesthetics program at Danderyds gymnasium and then went on to study radio at Kaggeholms folkhögskola. She used to be married to and has a son with Kristian Luuk, whom she met in 2005 when they shared presenter duties for the TV4 show God natt, Sverige, Berg's television debut. Along with Christine Meltzer she won a Kristallen-award in 2015 for "Best female television presenter". Berg is since December 2018 married to footballer Erik Berg.

As a child, he appeared in the leading role in several musicals, and in 2006 he won Lilla Melodifestivalen with the song "Hej Sofia". He won the celebrity dancing TV show Let's Dance 2014, and has competed twice in Melodifestivalen in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He won in 2018 and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, with the song "Dance You Off".
Ellen Linnea Petrea Henriksson is a Swedish singer and songwriter who participated in Idol 2010 in which she placed fourth. As of April 2018, she is also the lead singer of the jazz band Prylf. In 2012, Henriksson released her first music album, which she co-wrote and co-produced with singer Orup. During mid-2013, Henriksson toured Sweden with the band Gyllene Tider.
Malin Veronica Gramer is a Swedish actress and television presenter. Gramer starred in the film Trekant (1994) in which she had the lead role. She has presented the kids show Lattjo Lajban broadcast on TV4, and the game show Lyckochansen at TV3. In 2011–2013, Gramer presented Fråga Olle, a documentary series on sexuality, which was broadcast on Kanal5 and in 2013, she also hosted Min man kan on the same channel. Since 2013, she is also presenting Paradise Hotel on TV3, while she has also co-hosted Talang Sverige 2014 along with Adam Alsing, she also presented the show Jagad av hundar. On 24 August 2019, TV4 announced that it had recruited Gramer as host of the channel's reality show Love Island Sverige.
Ida Carolina Redig, also known as GIRL, is a Swedish singer, actress, music producer and songwriter. She participated in Melodifestivalen 2018 in the second semifinal with the song "Allting som vi sa", where she placed fifth and got eliminated.
