Luciana Lagorara (25 November 1936 4 June 2023) was an Italian gymnast. Together with her younger sister Elena she competed in all artistic gymnastics events at the 1956 Summer Olympics with the best individual result of 39th place on the vault. [2]

Italia's Got Talent is the Italian version of the international Got Talent series. The pilot episode was aired on 12 December 2009 on Canale 5 and it was seen by 5.3 million people. After this episode, Mediaset decided to hold on this show with a full-length season. The first season started on 12 April 2010 with high ratings and continued broadcasting. Rudy Zerbi, Maria De Filippi, and Gerry Scotti are the three judges.

Luciana Maria Arrighi is a Brazilian-born, Australian-Italian production designer. In 1993, she won an Oscar for Best Art Direction for the film Howards End (1992), becoming the first Brazilian-born person to win an Oscar. She also earned two more Oscar nominations in the same category for The Remains of the Day (1993) in 1994, and Anna and the King (1999) in 2000. In 2003, she won the BAFTA Award for Best Art Direction for the television film The Gathering Storm (2002).

The Sanremo Music Festival 2013 was the 63rd annual Sanremo Music Festival, a televised song contest held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Liguria, between 12 and 16 February 2013 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show, presented by Fabio Fazio with Italian comedy actress Luciana Littizzetto, featured two different competitions. The Big Artists section included 14 established Italian artists, competing with two songs each. During the semi-finals, a song for each artist was eliminated as a result of votes received by public and journalists. On 16 February 2013, Marco Mengoni, based on a combination of televotes and points awarded by a jury, was announced the winner of the competition, with his song "L'essenziale". The Newcomers' section featured eight songs performed by debuting or little known artists. On 13 and 14 February 2013, music journalists and televotes determined the four finalists of the competition. The final winner of the Newcomers' section, Antonio Maggio with the song "Mi servirebbe sapere", was announced on 15 February 2013, based on points awarded by a jury and on televotes.

Angelina Romanovna Melnikova is a Russian artistic gymnast. With eleven Olympic and World medals, she is the joint third-most decorated Russian gymnast of all time. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics she led the Russian Olympic Committee to gold in the team competition. She previously represented Russia at the 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in the team competition. She was also a member of the gold medal-winning Russian teams at the 2016 and 2018 European Championships, and the silver medal-winning Russian teams at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships.

Elena Wilma Lagorara was an Italian gymnast. She competed in all artistic gymnastics events at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics with the best individual result of 12th place on the vault in 1956. Her elder sister Luciana competed alongside her in 1956. Elena Wilma Lagorara died in 2003.

İbrahim Çolak is a Turkish artistic gymnast who is primarily a rings specialist. Luciana Alvarado Reid is a Costa Rican artistic gymnast who represented her country at the 2019 World Championships and the 2019 Pan American Games. She took the silver medal in the all-around at the 2021 Pan American Championships, earning a continental berth for the 2020 Summer Olympics, and also became Pan American champion on the balance beam. She is the first Costa Rican gymnast to qualify to an Olympic Games.
