The Italian Gymnastics Federation (Italian : Federazione Ginnastica d'Italia) is the national governing body for gymnastics in Italy. [2] [3] [4] Founded in 1869, the federation celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019. [5]

The Italian Gymnastics Federation is a member of the European umbrella organization European Union of Gymnastics as well as the World Association for International Gymnastics Federation

The Italian Gymnastics Federation is the only gymnastics association part of the Italian Olympic Committee authorized to send athletes to the Olympic Games.

The Italian Artistic Gymnastics Championships are the highest-level individual competition in artistic gymnastics in Italy. The first edition was held in 1925.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Luigi Cimnaghi</span> Italian sports administrator and gymnast (1940–2024)

Luigi Cimnaghi was an Italian sports administrator and gymnast. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and finished in 4th and 12th place with the Italian team, respectively. His best individual result was 14th place on the parallel bars in 1964. He won gold medals with the Italian team at the 1963 and 1967 Mediterranean Games, as well as four individual medals in 1967: two silvers, on the parallel bars and vault, and two bronze medals, all-around and on the horizontal bar.

Milena Baldassarri is an Italian individual rhythmic gymnast. She won silver in the ribbon final at the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the individual all-around and also competed in the all-around at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She qualified for the finals at both Olympic Games.

Giorgia Villa is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams that won silver at the 2024 Olympic Games and bronze at the 2019 World Championships. Individually, she is the 2018, 2020, and 2021 Italian national champion, the 2018 Youth Olympic champion, and the 2018 European junior all-around and beam champion. She is also a member of the Italian national team.
