Luciano Roberto Borsato (born January 7, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Borsato played five seasons in the National Hockey League for the Winnipeg Jets.
Borsato was drafted in the 7th round, 135th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. [1] He grew up in Bramalea, Ontario and played Junior "B" hockey with the Bramalea Blues. He played collegiate hockey at Clarkson University from 1984 to 1988, [2] and then played for the Moncton Hawks. [2] He was recalled to the Winnipeg Jets for one game in the 1990-1991 season, and played the bulk of the subsequent season with the team. By 1995, he was playing in European leagues, where he would finish his career, having played for the Kölner Haie, HIFK, HC Davos and the Nuermberg Ice Tigers. [2]

The Winnipeg Jets were a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. They began play in the World Hockey Association (WHA) in 1972. The club joined the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1979 after the NHL merged with the WHA. Due to mounting financial troubles, in 1996 the franchise moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and became the Phoenix Coyotes. The team played their home games at Winnipeg Arena.
Dale Martin Hawerchuk was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach. Drafted first overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, Hawerchuk played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 16 seasons as a member of the Jets, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, and Philadelphia Flyers. He won the NHL's Calder Memorial Trophy as rookie of the year in 1982 and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in his second year of eligibility in 2001. Hawerchuk served as the head coach of the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League from 2010 to 2019.
Teppo Kalevi Numminen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for Tappara and TuTo of the SM-liiga and the Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, Dallas Stars and Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Internationally, he represented the Finland men's national ice hockey team, and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2013.
Bryan Matthew Little is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. Little was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the first round, 12th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He played his entire career with the franchise, including after they moved and became the second iteration of the Winnipeg Jets. In November 2019, Little suffered a career-ending injury; he officially retired in 2024.
Jay Harrison is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes and the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League.
André A. Faust is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He played 47 games in the National Hockey League with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 1992–93 and 1993–94 seasons. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1992 to 2004, was mainly spent in Europe. He was drafted by New Jersey Devils in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft in 9th round as the 173rd pick overall. Faust is the first Princeton University alumnus to score a goal in the NHL.

Robert Thomas Joyce is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played six seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets between 1988 and 1993. He was drafted by the Bruins in the fourth round in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft from the University of North Dakota.
Aaron Kent Broten is an American former professional ice hockey player. Drafted in the sixth round, 106th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Rockies, Broten went on to play 748 regular season games in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Jason Gerardo Cirone was a Canadian-Italian professional ice hockey centre. He played for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League and was the former head coach of the Metro Jets of the North American 3 Hockey League. He was head coach of the Midland University Men's hockey team in Fremont, Nebraska. Internationally, Cirone represented Italy at several World Championships and at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Marko Daňo is an Austrian-born Slovak professional ice hockey right winger for HC Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He was originally drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round, 27th overall, at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in 2014. Before playing in the NHL, Daňo played professionally for Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for two seasons.
