Lullaby Girl is a studio album by American musician Lisa Loeb. The album was released under Furious Rose Productions label on October 6, 2017. [1]
The album is a compilation of cover songs, as well as two originals. While being a mostly acoustic album, as seen on Loeb's music videos, the album is meant to be peaceful, melodic, and whimsical to the ear. [2]
Lullaby Girl features a quartet led by keyboardist Larry Goldings. [3] The album includes Loebs and Goldings's arrangements of Dionne Warwick's "What the World Needs Now Is Love", the Five Stairsteps's "O-o-h Child", and Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop". [4]

Lisa Nicole Lopes, better known by her stage name Left Eye, was an American rapper and singer. She was a member of the R&B girl group TLC, alongside Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Besides rapping and singing on TLC recordings, Lopes was the creative force behind the group, receiving more co-writing credits than the other members. She also designed some of their outfits and the stage for their FanMail Tour and contributed to the group's image, album titles, artworks, and music videos. Through her work with TLC, Lopes won four Grammy Awards.

The song was written and composed by Loeb herself, while production was handled by Juan Patiño. "Stay" was originally conceived in 1990, at one point with the intent of selling it to Daryl Hall for a project he was seeking music for. Upon deciding to use the song herself, Loeb's neighbor and friend, actor Ethan Hawke, heard the song and submitted it to Ben Stiller for use in the film he was directing, Reality Bites. The song plays over the film's closing credits. Musically, "Stay" is a pop rock song influenced by folk rock music. Lyrically, the song deals with a relationship that has recently ended, but the narrator is now regretful.

Girlpool was an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by friends Avery Tucker and Harmony Tividad.
