Lunatic was a French hip hop duo from Boulogne-Billancourt. The lineup consisted of Booba (from Boulogne-Billancourt) and Ali (from Issy-les-Moulineaux), coming from the department of Hauts-de-Seine in the west suburb of Paris.

After Lunatic split up in 2003, both members went on to solo careers. Their release "Le Crime Paie" was produced by DJ Mars. [1]

Ali, originally Daddy Ali (born in 1975 at Issy-les-Moulineaux), is a French rapper of Moroccan origin who started his music career with Booba as rap duo Lunatic and now is a solo rapper artist.

After split-up, Ali released his album Chaos et Harmonie in 2005 [2] collaborating with 45 Scientific.

Elie Yaffa, better known under his stage name Booba (French pronunciation:  [buˈba] ), is a French rapper. He became hugely successful being the most legally downloaded artist in France. [3]

Booba French rapper

Élie Yaffa, better known under his stage name Booba, is a French rapper. After a brief stint as a break dancer in the early 1990s, Booba partnered with his friend Ali to form Lunatic. The duo released a critically acclaimed album in 2000 but disbanded in 2003. Booba has since embarked on a successful solo career, selling more than 10 million discs over his career and becoming the most legally downloaded artist in French history. Booba is praised for the quality of his flow and beats but often criticized because of the controversial nature of his lyrics. He has also established the rap label Tallac Records, and developed a line of jewellery.

Didier Berthet is a French Roman Catholic prelate, bishop of Saint-Dié since June 2016. Raised as a Protestant, Berthet converted to the Catholic Church as a young adult after attending an event when Pope John Paul II was present in France in the 1980. He was ordained a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nanterre in 1992 and in 2016 was named bishop of Saint-Dié.
