Lunatic is the fifth album by French rapper Booba and released on 22 November 2010 on Tallac Records. It's named after his former hip hop duo Lunatic, with Ali.

St. Lunatics was an American hip hop group formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1993. The group consisted of childhood friends Nelly, Ali, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, City Spud, and Slo Down.

Lavell Webb known by his stage name City Spud, is an American rapper and record producer. He was a member of hip hop group St. Lunatics. He was featured on fellow St. Lunatic member Nelly's hit single "Ride wit Me" from Nelly's debut album Country Grammar. In 1999, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for armed robbery. St. Lunatics campaigned for his release and titled their debut album Free City to support the release of City Spud from prison. He was released from prison, after serving 9 years, in 2008.

"Batter Up" is a song performed by members Nelly, Ali, and Murphy Lee of the hip hop group St. Lunatics and was produced by Steve "Blast" Wills. The song first appeared on Nelly's debut solo album, Country Grammar (2000), and was later included on the group's album Free City (2001) as a bonus track. A remixed version of "Batter Up" appears on Nelly's album Da Derrty Versions: The Reinvention (2003).

Élie Yaffa, better known under his stage name Booba, is a French rapper. After a brief stint as a break dancer in the early 1990s, Booba partnered with his friend Ali to form Lunatic. The duo released a critically acclaimed album in 2000 but disbanded in 2003. Booba has since embarked on a successful solo career, selling more than 10 million discs over his career and becoming the most legally downloaded artist in French history. Booba is praised for the quality of his flow and beats but often criticized because of the controversial nature of his lyrics. He has also established the rap label Tallac Records, and developed a line of jewellery.

Kew Lunatic Asylum is a decommissioned psychiatric hospital located between Princess Street and Yarra Boulevard in Kew, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. Later known as Willsmere, the complex of buildings were constructed between 1864 and 1872 to the design of architects G.W. Lunatic Doll ~ Ansatsu Keikoku is the debut album by Japanese singer Mari Hamada, released on April 21, 1983 by Invitation. Co-produced by Loudness drummer Munetaka Higuchi, the album was given the tag line: "Mari-chan Is Heavy Metal" by Shigesato Itoi. The songs were written and arranged by the Munetaka Higuchi Project Team, which consisted of Higuchi, Nobuo Yamada, Keiji Katayama, and Hiroaki Matsuzawa.
