The Rashtriya Janata Dal is an Indian political party,based in the states of Bihar,Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Yashwant Sinha is an Indian administrator and politician. He served as the Minister of Finance from 1990 until 1991 under Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar and again from March 1998 to July 2002 under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He also served as the Minister of External Affairs from July 2002 until May 2004. He was a senior leader of the BJP before he left the party on 21 April 2018.

Shatrughan Prasad Sinha is an Indian actor and politician. He is a Member of Parliament,Lok Sabha from Asansol constituency as a member of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). Earlier he was elected as Member of Parliament,Lok Sabha from Patna Sahib. He was also a Member of Parliament,Rajya Sabha during 1996–2002 and 2002–2008. He was a Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Shipping in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He was a member of standing committee on transport,tourism and culture and member of consultative committee in ministry of external affairs and overseas Indian affairs from 2014 to 2019. In 2016,his biography,Anything but Khamosh,was released.
Rajesh Ranjan,better known as Pappu Yadav,is an Indian politician from Bihar,belonging to the Indian National Congress. He won elections to the Lok Sabha in 1991,1996,1999,2004 and 2014 from several constituencies in Bihar as an Independent / SP / Lok Janashakti Party / RJD candidate. Pappu Yadav became one of the 'best performing' MPs in 2015. Pappu Yadav was President of Jan Adhikar Party (Loktantrik) which is formally merged in Indian National Congress before 2024 general election.
Hazaribagh is a city and a municipal corporation in Hazaribagh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is the divisional headquarters of North Chotanagpur division. It is considered as a health resort and is also popular for Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary. It is represented in the Indian Lok Sabha by its Member of Parliament Jayant Sinha.
Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers,and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.

He was the Union State Minister (MoS) for Forests &Environment of India in the BJP –led National Democratic Alliance Government in 1998 to 2000. He was appointed as Jharkhand BJP president on 04 July 2023.
Ram Kripal Yadav is an Indian politician and a member of the 17th Lok Sabha from the Pataliputra parliamentary constituency in Bihar. He was a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal and was a close confidant of Lalu Yadav. Later he joined Bharatiya Janata Party. He was first a mayor in Bihar,and later the Minister of State for Rural Development in central cabinet in Delhi from 2014 to 2019.
Prabhunath Singh is a politician from Bihar,India and was a member of the 12th,13th and 14th Lok Sabha. Singh represented the Masrakh assembly constituency from 1985 to 1995,and the Maharajganj Lok Sabha constituency of Bihar from 1998 to 2009. In 2013,he won the bypoll and remained as MP until 2014. Singh is a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

R.L.P. Verma was a former member of Lok Sabha and a leader of Bhartiya Janata Party. He was elected to Lok Sabha from Kodarma in Jharkhand state in India for six terms. Verma played instrumental role in strengthening Bhartiya Jana Sangh and later Bhartiya Janata Party in Bihar-Jharkhand region.
Loknath Mahato was a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the state of Jharkhand,India,elected from constituency Barkagaon which is in the Hazaribagh district of the state. He was first elected in 1995. Since then he has been re-elected three times,representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),one of the main national parties of India. He was one of the contenders in the 12 December 2019 Jharkhand state assembly elections from Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). In 2014,Mahto had left BJP to join All Jharkhand Students Union,when denied ticket to contest from Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency. He participated in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and finished at third position.
Dr. Madan Prasad Jaiswal was a member of the 11th Lok Sabha,12th Lok Sabha,and 13th Lok Sabha of India. He represented Bettiah constituency of Bihar from 1996 to 2004,and was a founding member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Arun Kumar is an Indian politician who represented Jahanabad constituency in Lok Sabha. He won the seat in the 2014 Indian general election and 1999,and he is a founding member of the Rashtriya Samata Party (Secular). Jayant Sinha is an Indian politician who is a Member of the Indian Parliament and formerly the Minister of State for Finance and the Minister of State for Civil Aviation in the Government of India. Sinha is currently the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Finance and a member of the Public Accounts Committee for 2019–20. He has also been an investment fund manager and management consultant. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of India's International Movement to Unite Nations
Dev Dyal Kushwaha was an Indian politician,who served as first agriculture minister for the state of Jharkhand,after its formation. He was appointed as Minister for Agriculture in first Jharkhand government,which was led by Babu Lal Marandi. Kushwaha was a leader of Bhartiya Janata Party,who represented Hazaribagh Sadar Assembly constituency as Member of Legislative Assembly for three times. Before joining active politics he was associated with pedagogy. Kushwaha won the assembly elections of 1990,1995 and 2000 from Hazaribagh Assembly constituency. Besides,Babu Lal Marandi's cabinet,he also served as a minister in Arjun Munda's cabinet. In 2005 Jharkhand Assembly elections,he was defeated by Saurabh Narain Singh—the grandson of Kamakhya Narain Singh.
