M4M (Mystical Formula), is a Mandopop boy band formed in 2013 by South Korea's Cube Entertainment and China's Xing Tian Media. The group consists of four members; Alen, Jimmy, Vinson, and Yu Bin. The group debuted on March 13, 2013 on M! Countdown with the Korean version of Sadness. [1] In March 2014, M4M announced that they are going to terminate their contracts with Chinese company Xing Tian Media, due to a lack of activity. [2]
M4M is an abbreviation for Mystical Formula. The name is used to describe passion, mystery and infinite possibilities, whilst the number 4 is representational of the number of members in the group. [3]
In 2009, Xing Tian Media started to scout four individual talents to make up a new group. Although they were originally due to début before fellow labelmate BtoB, the departure of member and leader Park Jung-jong set back their début until the arrival of Alen. [3]
In February 2013, Cube Entertainment announced that the group, which had been training for 1,460 days, would be making their début although they didn't specify a date. [4] On 12 March, they released the single for "Sadness" followed by their formal debut on M! Countdown [1] and the uploading of the single's music video on YouTube on the following day. [5] Two months later, they went on to release their first mini album, the self-titled "Mystery Formula" of which both a Chinese version and a Korean version were released. [6]
After a long hiatus, Bin became a trainee for NewStyle Media, and participates in Idol Producer .

Miss A was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in July 2010 with the single "Bad Girl Good Girl" as a quartet consisting of Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy. Their debut song reached number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, which made them the first act ever to have their debut song reach the top of the chart, the song also became the best-performing single of 2010 on the chart.
Zhou Mi is a Chinese singer, entertainer and author active in South Korea and China signed under SM and co-managed with Baymon for his China activities. He debuted in 2008 as an exclusive member of the Super Junior's china sub-group Super Junior-M and later participated in SM Entertainment's project group SM the Ballad. Aside from group activities, he also participates in various television variety shows, radio shows, and dramas. He release his first solo EP titled Rewind in 2014. In 2016, SM established own management for his activities in China, Zhoumi Studio.
Secret (Korean: 시크릿) was a South Korean K-pop girl group formed by TS Entertainment in 2009. The group originally debuted with four members: Jun Hyo-seong, Jung Ha-na, Song Ji-eun and Han Sun-hwa. They released their debut single I Want You Back October 2009. Secret's debut single did not meet great success and it was not until the following year that the group saw a rise in popularity. In 2010, Secret released two singles Magic and Madonna which earned much attention with both singles peaking at No. 2 and No. 1 respectively on the Gaon Digital Chart. With the success of "Magic" and "Madonna", the group received the "Newcomer Award" at the 25th Golden Disk Awards.

He is one of the members in the South Korean boy group VIXX, and has been widely praised for his unique, soulful, and husky vocal tone. Ken began his acting career in 2014 in MBC Every 1's comedy drama Boarding House No. 24 as Lee Jae-hwan.
